what are you using to get that very dark black. the same dark and uniform black as in the drawing of the tree frog

to get deep blacks, the best way to do it is to layer it. Start off with 8b,blend,8b and 6b. You can keep layering with 8b and 6b until you are happy with the darkness.

@sasdasfas put a layer down of 8b, blend it and over that go over it with 4b, blend and keep repeating with 4b until its dark like you want it.
