That isn't what he actually said. what he said was that muslims in pak and afghanistan are so poor and illterate that they have nothing better to do than torture each other. the black flag symbol is because they could not afford colors. they couldn't afford colors because they spent their time reading (well, listening to because they can't read) the koran and not doing anything productive or inventive with their lives. as a result, afpak is the most miserable place on the planet.
