Erm , as much as i love the cult ( and ive seen them about 50 times worldwide) id have to say Ian is not the greatest of live singers. He IS however one of the best frontmen in the business and besides a Cult gig isnt about being perfect its about enjoying the gig. You want perfect listen to the albums! lol!

Thats how he sings. It's his trademark voice, look at anything they put out and you will see it hasn't changed much. He's gotten older of course, but he sounds pretty much like this Live. It's just something they're known for.
