Im 21 in the army curently deployed . born and raised in PR in my 1st duty asignment married an irish girl lol so... wheni saw ur video i thought i could help u out with some info.... ok u not knowing spanish wont be a big deal every 1 in mayaguez around the coollege speaks english,,, the college is great my sis earned her degree in engenering from over there... word of advice learn to cook pr food b4 u get there!!

I cant believe ppl r recomending u to go to Rio Piedras, since its the most "anti-USA" campus in PR. In every U P <--thats how we call it over here--(University of PR). there are alot of anti-USA ppl (independentistas) even the teachers. So some "groups" of ppl might not "like" you there AT ALL. And for anyone that starts bashing my comment. IM NOT GIVING PR A BAD NAME; I JUST SAY SH!T LIKE IT IS, BORN AND RAISED IN MAYAGUEZ and its my favorite city, and everything is close to the university.
@Bigmiquimby xD Thanks for letting me know. I expect that there will be people who aren't happy another American chick is going to PR but whatever. I'm not a fuckin conquistador or some shit. I just wanna get my education, see the world, and not bother anyone.

@Miguel11adjr xD I'm coming from a school that the only reason you'll hear about it is because we get voted one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Education wise? We're in the middle/bottom of the list. As long as I can graduate with my intended major, I'm happy. ^_^
@Xenindwarf123 That's where the boyfriend goes and where all of my friends go, so it's an easier transition for me. Plus the English department is pretty awesome and I have a transfer student connection there.
It IS MUCH cheaper education, and it's not bad. And screw the people criticizing you for going because of your bf; as long as you guys believe in your relationship nothing anyone else says matters. :\
