well, i think it might be because ur vid is high contrast, as the other guy's was zoomed in on the cards and bright enough to see what he was doing, so i was able to pause it and see the slight of hand he did. either way, its much hard to understand and learn the trick by viewing ur video. :P
let me guess amgicains thread its the only explination i could relay thing of have it on the other hand that way when u squar the deck it can easily be pulled right out
Unfortunately i wish it was that easy, but i can legitimately swear on my own life that this is indeed sleight of hand, I know some magicians out there will back me up.
Wow that is a amazing card trick there? I am a amture magician myself. Nowhere near that good at card tricks. I was wondering if you could send me a message on how to do the trick if you would not mind?
Jeff, I think this is the pinnacle of your work, at least on YouTube. I'm still planning to catch up over the summer, but you've gotten noticeably better since I last saw you, which was just a month ago. INSPIRING stuff, Jeff!! We need to hang out sometime over the summer as well!
AMAZING VID JEFF!!!!!!! its really smooth and i still cant believe that antidagger sad it was better than his his is insane crazy smooth but still extremely smooth
Thanks for your comment Antidagger. Actually I'm the one who should be flattered, in my mind this is nowhere near as good as your video. Yes you did inspire me, your handling of cards looks so natural and smooth to me that it's been a heavy influence on how I aim to look when I perform. You are actually one of the people I respect most in the community and I aim to be be at your level as soon as possible. Thank you very much for commenting.
You may want to NOT dribble the cards.. It kinda makes the spec "figure" the trick out faster if you know what I'm saying. You're just showing the card on top and it goes in the middle..
Thank you Shaw for the advice, I dribble the cards for two reasons and I think they are acceptable reasons. Reason number one is it proves there are no breaks. Reason number two is force of habit haha, I just dribble cards a lot. I think I'll make a response to another one of your vids when I get the chance ;)
Haha I respect your opinion and of course it is your right to have one, but I think your argument could be made for almost all flourishes. Dribbling cards is a display of skill, granted it doesn't display that much skill but for example the last time I was at the Magic Castle I was dribbling cards and a magician member came up to me and had me teach him how to do it because he said he was never able to learn it on his own. Plus if you practice you can learn the anaconda :D
Duude, this trick is so hard to pull off. I finally found out after 3 years of watching the video over and over again. Props to you bro.

what kind of cards are those????
DimitriTheDealer 2 years ago
They look like Tally-Ho Circle backs. The look black, but due to lighting it's kinda hard to tell.

chopsdadon 2 years ago
it was posted in other comments, it's called the ala menthe. Look for the other comments that have the correct punctuation involved.
sleepyjeff06 2 years ago
is there an official name for this trick?
z11223344 2 years ago
Yeah, this is what Antidagger called it. The Most impossible card trick in the world.
sleepyjeff06 2 years ago
It's not really a trick.. it just involves one sleight. A sleight that has become quite popular recently.
