Nope! Unfortunately you can't slam-fire the 870 and you also can't put a preload on the pump action.  You can preload Winchesters though.

Way to keep the barrel level unlike most of the yahoos on here.  I just ordered the 1100 TAC-2 this afternoon.

I think you'll be very happy with that shotgun! The 1100 TAC-2 is slighty shorter than my Competition Master. It holds 7 shells but you get a more maneuverable shotgun and the pistol grip stock.

Nah, although I might check back to see if they still have it. I already have a shotgun, so far I've been buying "assault" rifles. The way I see it, if an AWB passes I'll still be able to get a shotgun, but an AR-15, not so much, so I'm stocking up on that kind of stuff.

An M1 carbine is the closest I can get to an "assault rifle" here, without paying 1500 for an M1A.

There called the M1100 Tac 2 and Tac4. Tac 4 holds 9 rounds sells on average for like$825. I'm buying one soon so I had my FFL dealer price it out.
