Nice vid. I had a .357mag Desert Eagle Mark1 that was very ammunition picky. One ammo wouldnt hold the slide back on the last round, other ammo sprayed crap all in my face after every shot, and other ammo's wouldnt feed. Also, if you rested it on the magazine it wouldnt feed. I did finally find ammo that it LOVED it is was the most accurate .357 ive ever owned, but let it go awhile back for another 1911. Ive got a 500S&W now so i can get my kicks out of that. 44mg would be it if i bought again.
@Drakkmar13 Remington Semi-Jacketed Hollow Points. lead at top semi exposed surrounded by a copper jacket that kinda looks like a star pattern al the way around. Some walmarts carry them and it most also the most accurate.
Great video I have been wanting to try slide glide. I got some Froglube recently it's suppose to be good cleaner lube and protectant haven't really used anything other than hoppes 9 before now. thumbs up on the video
Hopefully that side glide smells better than the Tetra Gun grease I use on my DE. The size of the pistol requires more than a regular firearm, and that tetra smell is so overwhelming :(
yea i do hate people who dont know there guns facts and still try to teach you, and can someone answe"How can a DE jam with such a big caliber?" just wondering
It's refreshing to see someone else that uses Hoppe's #9, H4T. It's withstood the test of time, unlike a lot of the other shit you see people using on Youtube.
Not familiar with that product but normally that much lube would cause a hydrolic problem in most pistols which would cause the slide to not cycle fast enough. Can't wait to see how it works at the range.
Forgot to add, that Children's toothbrushes are one of the best tools you can use to clean a Pistol. The head on a kid's tooghbrush is much smaller, and it's easier to reach areas your adult brush - and sausage fingers can't.
Awesome vid man. There's always something zen going on when cleaning a gun. I guess it has to do with that fact that you know with all that cleaning, oiling and care you are preparing your gun for optimum performance.
With that said can you make a video of applying the slide-glide on the LWRC? That way we'd (at least I) would learn where you'd apply it on an AR. Cheers man.
My 50 AE has never had a single jam of any sort. If you don't hold it tight or correctly mine does not jam, BUT.. it will place the spent case in the center of your forehead... lol I bought mine several years ago, and I'm the third owner, but it was unfired until I fired it. got a great deal on it, loading dies, bullets for reloading, and 6 box's of ammunition for 750

Does your Glock 18C get really dirty from shooting full auto? You should try the slide glide on it and making a cleaning vid :)

i was told one time that kerosene or diesel was the best and cheapest cleaning solution
i have a .22 conversion bolt for my ar 15 that is stainless steel and it worked great
YMMV

That's nice. If you have an optic you don't have to worry about it losing zero when you clean the gun.

Most people don't own enough ammo - to dirty up their gun to the point of failure.
Also, I have never experienced any jams or otherwise with any 50 AE's i've ever shot. I have never heard or seen jams with any 50 AE's i've ever seen.
