I have 3 "pit bull type" mixes, & one is scared of the cats as well. It's not the breed, it's irresponsible owners & people who don't care if they breed & sell genetic messes for profit that hurt the breed. I love mine & will always own/rescue pit bulls. They are great dogs, but they are only as good as the owners that train/care for them. The media gives them a bad rap, because like Don Henley sang, "give us dirty laundry". "If it bleeds, it leads". The 5:00 news doesn't do feel good stories.
