  • Whats the backround music???

  • amazing.... i just made one to my granmother. sorry about my bad english i coming from sweden.

  • OOOOOO! i press snowflake button :) snowflakes on my screen!

  • Challenge accepted.

  • You should seriously consider selling these!

  • Comment removed

  • wow this is awsome! o3ob

How did you do those basic things that you put together? ^^'

  • @Alissha88 thx^^ look up 3d origami for beginners

  • Sorry to bother u again but when u are using 1/64 of A4 paper how much should u put in a group like u put 10 in a group for 1/32 of A4 paper

  • @gunit00311 when you mean group, do you mean like when I connect the pairs? I do groups of 10 to prevent it from curling. you dont need to do that. its a base of 30 and you can connect it in groups of anything, just stop when it gets too long and start a new one and then connect them altogether, cos you just connect it into a base of 30 anyway. so yeah you would make it exactly the way you make it in the vid, regardless of the paper size, you'll just end up with a smaller or bigger peacock

  • I did 1/64 of a4 paper is that ok please tell me?

  • @gunit00311 yes any size is fine

  • I just put Your video in my blog, but i see other people said that the peacook is their creation, but I believe is Yours. look this blog: RECIVLAR,REUSAR Y CREAR MANUALIDADES . the peacook is in wednesday august 2010

  • @medibeads I mentioned in the description box that its from a book. I modified the colours and a bit of the tail spots to make it like a more realistic peacock (blue body, green tail, peach spots, not like all pink like in the book). nearly all the 3d origami peacocks look the same, with slight difference in the size, chest, tail and patterns

  • @soonli10 all 3d origami starts with a circle base

  • were do you get black paper because i cant find anything thats not construction paper reply back as soon as you can

  • @mylifeisguitar100 from stationery warrehouse (in newzealand). just use construction paper then. if its too thick you cut the rectangle in half longways and skip the 1st step (folding up in half) which is shown in 3d origami for beginners part 2

  • holy crap thats 1161 pieces using 36 peices of paper 13 down and 1148 left to go

    d:

  • I can't believe there r people who actually have the time and patience to do this kind of stuff & I don't mean that in a bad way.....

  • dude!!!!!!!!!!

  • dcd

  • I made a big swan but this is difficult

  • at 2:08 when it says continue what does that mean plese reply?

  • @246diego after building up to 2.07 where the demonstration ends, the diagram at 2.08 shows what you need to build next. so you need to follow that pattern. at the top pattern theres a red slash on the right and then the continued bit at the bottom is meant to connect to it/ be beside it (but I didnt have space).sorry for the confusion, it took me a while to get it as well since I made this a long time ago. just watch the rest after 2.08 and it shows what you're meant to do in the vid

  • @jewellia7777 Where did you get your "book"?

  • @willylammy i found mine on internet and printed like 70 pages... keep searching "3d origami book"

  • Holy shit i thought my 3d dragon wuz good but this is talent

  • I luv ur videos!!!!

  • from 1:50 on, where are you putting the increase? isn't only one side increasing?

  • @KenshinForever you increase on both sides of the tail to make it go out diagonally

  • @jewellia7777 oh, okay, thanks :) *hits self in forehead*

  • where do you get that many colored pieces of paper?

  • could you make a tutorial on how to make the piece because when i do it, it rips.

  • Thank You...I made this and it is fantastic :))

  • where do you get the colored paper you use to make the modules

  • starting on the first row of spotts :)

  • starting on the first row of spotts :)

  • how do i make the V?

    it is a real question. .. . .

  • @MMinecrafTT which V? if its the triangle shape for the chest it kinda shows you as i'm building it

  • what sizes to the triangles have to be? I know how to make them but what size?

  • @outrageousfantasy 1/32 of an A4 paper. I think it was 5x3.5cm, not exact, but just an A4 paper divided into 32 rectangles

  • @Wildpath35 yeah, you get kinda used to folding half the size after a while, but its still faster to fold the normal size cos it fits in the hands better (this peacock is normal size, not half the size)

  • look up flat point origami pieces

  • I don't have that much green paper, is it okay to have a smaller tail?

  • How do you make the little pieces?

  • @MrFreddymercury look up 3d origami for beginners

  • oh my shitting lord.

  • where do you buy your paper??? I can't really find any coloured printer paper

  • @33hands from the stationery shop. ('warehouse stationery' in newzealand). check in craft sections of department stores, dollar stores and stationery shops that sell office supllies and reams of computer paper, or you can buy pre-made sticks from me, the vid with info about that is on my channel

  • @jewellia7777 Thanks for letting me know........ I don't really have pay pal and i want to fold the squares myself (its a birthday present~makes it more special) But i just wanted to know where you bought your paper. Luv what you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @33hands did you read the comment you responded to? it says in the comment right above. in a stationery shop in NZ

  • @jewellia7777 I know, i was just stating what i wrote the first coment for

  • @33hands oooh ok lol I read it again and yeah it just sounds like stating why you commented, before I thought you were asking lol

  • @jewellia7777 Could you please make a tutorial on how to make dragons if you haven't allready done so. I promised a lot of people b-day gifts. I made one panda using your tutoirals , and people were so amazed! Now everyone wants one lol Thanks for your help!!!

  • @33hands I havent made any dragons. the closest thing to a dragon is the dragon boat or dinosaur suit

  • @33hands . (part 2 of comment)I dont sell precut paper any more (it was cheaper with more amount of paper than sticks) but if u wanna fold it urself u can just buy sticks and let me know you dont want it folded. it'll be the same price as sticks though, I dont do the precut paper like before cos people wanted lots of rectangles and it took so long to cut. so yeah, message me if you wanna buy precut paper or prefolded (u need paypal though)

  • cool!

  • i did it and im only 11 thx

  • This video was very good. I made one in about 2-3 days and I thought i was gonna die when folding all the pieces, but uts was really worth it at the end. ^_^

  • *it

  • @rioluluvr77 thanks^^ glad u like the vid ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • Making for my teacher whos birthday was a while ago/is getting married. She gonna be real happy

  • i wish i could do something like that

  • Im really sorry but, how do you do those "bases"? the things that you connect to each other.

  • @bachigaga look up 3d origami for beginners, it will teach you everything you needa know from the start^_^

  • @bachigaga you have to do something good i really cant explain but you will get it some how if you look at the video closly

  • @bachigaga look up 3d origami for beginners. everything you need to know is there

  • you must really be annoyed of people keeping on asking how to make the peices.... it is tough work but maybe put the link of how to make th little pieces in the down bar/ description box. or put it in the vid response...

  • @beth1420 yeah it is annoying, I'll just be remaking most of my old tutorials with talking, and put the sign on it to watch the beginner vid, just like on my new vids, since I dont wanna paste the link on all the vids^^

  • How make the piecesc?? Tutorial plssss

  • @DolarCTiger there already is one. look up 3d origami for beginners

  • i used red instead of peach and it got alot more nicer! try that!

  • Thank you soooo much!!! I made it for my mother ;) She was really happy!!!! I have to do it in two days 0_0 but I did it!!! (sorry for my bad English, I'm 13 years old, and I'm from Holland :$)

  • @leoinggeo glad it made your mum so happy!!^_^ I can understand all of what you wrote^^

  • Hay, this was the first model i made from you, its the best thing in my house =D!!! But the question is, the peach you use there is like "skin" color, the one you use for the cow?

  • @44carva no the cow used a darker peach. skin colour on my new models is like the face of the boy & girl and the strawberry people. the cow and pig use a darker peach, like mickey mouses face (well actually sometimes mickey mouse pics have the light skin colour as well, but its like an orangy-pink)

  • I LOVE all of your videos. They have really helped me get started with this style! I loooove everything! I noticed you mentioned that you use the books....Just to clarify: You can start ALL the models the same way you start your bases? I know my book says to glue one row all together then add them on from there. Just

making sure they'll turn out the same if I stick with your method? ;D thanks!

  • @LindsayonBroadway12 thanks^^ glad you like my vids. yeah I used the books in the beginning but got bored of them later on. now I just make up my new designs. yes you can make all bases the way I do. they just glue it in the book to make it stay, but my paper stays pretty well already, so I dont needa glue it, + its faster since you dont needa peg them and wait for them to dry, like they do in the books. I guess you would do that if the paper doesnt stay

  • Comment removed

  • is each pairs 30 or is the whole base 30

  • @darkdesi1234 its 30 pairs, or 30 pieces per row

  • why is my base smaller than yours?

i use a4 printer paper 8.5 in by 11 in

  • @darkdesi1234 are you sure tht you used 60 triangles from the beginning? after the first 60 youre just going with 30 or maybe you thought like me, tht it's bigger in the video

  • what is the name of the book?

  • @thebestimet910 3d origami. its in the 1st book. then the 2nd and 3rd book are "more 3d origami" and "more & more 3d origami". just look up 3d origami book on google, and u'll find it on amazon

  • @jewellia7777 oh thanks

  • how long did it take you to fold all the pieces?

  • never mind i think your white is the peach

  • where did you use the peach at

  • for your spot patterns does the rows go from up to down or down to up

  • How many pieces of a4 paper do you need? I just finished making the swan which uses the same technique but it only uses 483 triangles. So this woll be more of a challenge!!!

  • @kylemarfil I'm not sure how many pieces of A4 paper you need, but 0.11 shows you how many pieces you need. you can take those numbers for each colour and divide by 32 (since each paper gives you 32 pieces) and you'll get the amount of paper you need. if its something like 7.7, then it'd be 8 pages, with pieces left over

  • I just finished making the peacock, thank you so much for the tutorial! :)

  • @Ryuurin3435 you're welcome for the tutorial^^ this peacock uses a lot of pieces, so congrats on making it!

  • do you glue all the pcs? because mine breaks after making it help please! 0_0 :)

  • @carlos1998ify no, they just stay together easily. you need know the difference between paper with grip, and slippery paper. just feel paper at the shop to see if it has grip, before you buy it. you can buy precut paper rectangles from me to get the same paper, or find good printer paper at the shop that isnt slippery

  • I hope you don't mind if I ask this, but how many pieces of each individual colours are needed to make this? I really want to make this for my friend for her birthday.

  • @Ryuurin3435 did you watch the vid? it says at 0.10

  • @jewellia7777 Oh, I'm so sorry to have asked then! I'm a very blur person, you see... but thank you. :)

  • straaaaaaight up ! you inspired me :)

  • my art teacher used to make us create those those stupid pieces ( we called them caps) then he would collect them now i see what he used them for.... that jerk

  • holy crap! that had to take a long time! and how do you make the little cone things?!

  • @TheRenee18 look up 3d origami for beginners. and from your other comment on another vid, you get paper from stationery shops

  • I'm going to make this as a housewarming gift for my great grandma, she's moving near us. I think she's going to love it! And jewellia7777, I love your videos. I use them all the time, and I am now hooked on 3D Origami thanks to your vids. Keep adding wonderful videos!

  • @peetey897 thanks for the comment^_^ It would make a really nice housewarming gift, I'm sure she'll love it^^ you're welcome, and yeah I will keep adding more videos:-)

  • stunning

  • @jewellia7777 I thought of using glue but, I'm sure there must be a better way I'll see if I can upload a vid of what I've done so far, maybe you can give me some tips or ideas???

  • @TheSillyRaccoon k kool, looking forward to see wot it looks like^^

  • I really love your work and I have followed lots of your videos and some the stuff that you make is amazing. I was wondering if you could help me design and construct a strand of DNA using this origami method for my A level art coursework, i've managed to make the main strands, but i cant find a design for the parts that link them together

  • @TheSillyRaccoon thanks^^ sorry I dunno how you would make the connecting bits, I guess you'd just have to make separate sticks and glue them

  • wat kind ofpaper do u use? If i use a color paper it will be thiner D: i didnt find the kind that u use HELLLP!!! where do u buy it ?

  • @mraw98 printer paper, from the stationery shop "stationery warehouse" (thick bulk of 1 colour) or a supermarket that sells clothes, toys and stuff "the warehouse", in the craft/stationery section (a thin $4pad of 5 colours). you just have to know the difference between slippery paper and paper with grip, and then just feel the paper at the shops before you buy it. i live in NZ so I wont have the same shops as you, just feel paper to see if it has grip

  • @jewellia7777

^^ okay ty but i dont think that we have the same stores becase i am from canada

  • @devastator321456 relient k- who I am hates who I've been (it says in the vid details box below the vid)

  • i'm using paper thats 78 cm by 39 cm, i did the first part right before you add the pyramid of peach colored ones, it looks kinda small, should i have the base be a little more than 30, or should i just keep it the way it is? i don't mind redoing what I've done btw. :)

  • @h3rsheyqueen888 I think you can just keep it the way it is, if you add more pieces to the base, you'll have to kinda make up a bit of the pattern since u got extra pieces. Plus, 39 by 78cm sounds big to me lol cos mine is 21 by 29.7 and I think the model turns out big in the end. It may seem small now but when the tail starts spreading out and getting higher it becomes a bit big^^

  • i heavent got enough green can use two greens? will it still look good?

  • @mobradovic00 not really, but you can do whatevr you like, and try whatever you want and then take pieces off if it doesnt look good, its just trial and error

  • Can you tell me the size of the paper you made a module ?

  • too cool

  • color is speeled wrong

  • @AnnaNguyen12 no its not thats the english version, its cos americans spell it 'color'

  • @jewellia7777 hey is the peacock half a triangle or full triangle

  • @AnnaNguyen12 in english you spell it colour and in americans they spell it color you get it :) and jewellia i copy that and the dragon boat :)

  • Do you know how to make a 3d origami cake?

  • jewelia help me cant make neck in color only white

  • Could u do a video on how to make a really big dragons not the little ones

  • hey can you tell me what is the height and the width of that peacock? thanks! (:

  • Comment removed

  • can you tell me the name of the book please??

  • @solapoutakaneiola more & more 3d origami. just search for '3d origami book' on google and you'll find all 3 on amazon easily

  • @jewellia7777 thank you very much my friend!!! I m from Greece and amazon coct to much to bring that book here but i ll find the from a book store! Today I fially have finished forming triangulars and started to making it! YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!

  • how long does it takes u to make it huh?

  • @YGJishful 20 mins usually for a model but maybe 25 or 30 mins for this since its big. making pieces probly takes an hour or 2, i dunno exactly since i make whole bunch of pieces spread out between lots of models

  • @jewellia7777 Impossible! in 10 hours I made just 700 of them! I'm halfway through and I'm Already getting crazy!!!! :)

Btw I'm changing green with light pink, and peach with white (or yellow, wich one is better?), do you think it's ok? because if it's not I'll kill myself right now.

  • @gianpa i think light pink and white is better, yeah ofcourse its ok, you can make it whatever colour you want lol. watch "folding triangles fast" to see how to mkae them faster, they should take about 5 secs each, if you just fold them bit by bit during tiny chuncks of spare time during the day like 1-5 mins each day, and during those hours when watching a movie/tv, it wont feel like it took so long :-)

  • @jewellia7777 5 seconds? It takes 20 seconds when I go super-fast... I guess I'm just a noob :)

But the real problem is not folding the triangles, is cutting the paper!

  • @gianpa yeah cutting paper is annoying lol. 20 seconds is ok, some people take longer, you'll probably get faster when you get used to it, cos I just fold fast, not everyone takes 5 secs a piece, you'll get better with time^_^ good luck with all ur origami

  • i think it is really pretty

  • How do you do that yours is so big and fluffy like? My items are some flattened, and even the base is so low that only mieści fingers in the hole :( czy ja something I'm doing wrong? Maybe a bad paper, mam? pity that can not do this as you tak :( sorry za mistakes, I am Pole ...

  • @jozinnan after making my pieces i stack them on top of each other into sticks and they become a bit more puffy. do you fold your real hard? maybe thats why its flat. people just fold their pieces differently and they look a bit different. watch 3d origami for beginners, and how to fold triangles fast, to see how i make my pieces, and try fold it exactly how i do. "how to fold pieces fast" is the vid that shows how i really fold my pieces

  • im making this swan right now; what paper did you use? nice bird!!!

  • omg so beautiful oh and thanks SOOOOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!

i watched all of them and loved them SOOOOOO MUCH

    gosh i wish i was like u!!!!

  • @jungminlee99 thanks!! you can be, it just takes practice/experience to make good models. i sometimes look up 3d origami and look up 'kawaii' on google images and some image sites to get ideas for 3d origami and cute animals and stuff. good luck on all ur origami :-)

  • which paper looks and works better? printer paper or colored paper?

  • @happyinuyasha uh.. this is coloured printer paper, what was the difference between the 2 you're thinking of?

  • how do you make those little triangles?

  • @Porongatucamote its on the beginner vid, "3d origami for beginners"

  • jewellia u are the one who got me started in 3d origami ive made aalll of ur tutorols

  • @MrMaster322 awesome! glad i got u into it ^_^

  • @MrMaster322 same but i haved made all your models i hate making the triangles so i bought some from you

  • What book did you get it off from??

  • Ur the best origami maker in the world

    P.S. Are you Japanese

  • @14hsoj thanx, no chinese, but born in new zealand

  • @jewellia7777 cool i was born in ontario im only 9 but i love ur vids ive made some things from ur vids like the flower basket i made my own mini swan but it broke ur the best

  • @14hsoj mt right its so cool but im ten and i was born in ny

  • Jewellia...this is just CRAZY AWESOME! Gonna make it!

  • nice i love this song! its wayy good

  • i think that THIS type of project THIS one specifically is like a summser project because u have more time then is school mounths OHHHH school

  • I did it with 64 paper by a4 and he's more compact:)

(Sorry for my bad english ;p)

  • so what your saying its better to buy like a reem of A4 paper than to spend like $20 on a couple packs of origami paper

and also for like little parts if you have spare origami paper should you just use that as opposed to buying a whole bunch of it because for your fox model i was gonna use a spare peice of origami paper for the black noxe should i use it?
