No comments on this one in a while. Great video. Song had that same gritty feeling as the 08th MS Team has. One of, if not, the best Gundam series made in my opinion. Thanks much!
a just war is not about wins or losses, it's about ending injustice, we don't fight wars and kill enemies so we can say we are superior, we do it to stop suffering, anyone who says different doesn't see the bigger picture. The most effective way to end a war is to eliminate your opponents battle strength so they can no longer continue but in any war there has to be losses on both sides, otherwise there is nothing to stop it from happening again, this is why many people are against armed uav's.

then they should say it not theres!!! it just makes me mad when noobs like this EVEN POST AMV that arnt there OWN! there noobs and should make there own! thats all im trying to say that even if thats the case they should still at least say its not theres
Unless you were with the Allies during the World Wars. Then you royally kicked ass XD
Well, not really. In their personal lives, no real battle won except staying alive. But in the army as a whole, in the morale they had, and the warm homecoming that isn't seen now nor was seen in Vietnam, it was a clear victory.
I wasn't personally annoyed by what you said, but you do realize that your comment may have aggravated some people right? I'm not looking for a fight, I'm just curious
Sorry, but to say there were no winners in a war against evil is, well, lacking. You want to blame wrecked lives? Blame Hitler for starting it all, not the war itself.
War is such a complicated machine that no one knows how to used it, in a war we do gain new ways for killing in each other rather than helping someone to make it better... so, you think you can tell that actually in war there are winners? I could said on, 'cause you can't win something if you can enjoy the thereafter of it... ^^
Would you call it a clear victory if one side was desperate enough to use nukes? And the Allies didn't really win because right after WW2 they where split up and thrust into the Cold War. If it was a victory, then it was a very, VERY short lived one.
That didn't make a lick of sense at all. It's just some trash you came up with from a few fragments of history. Try realizing what a war is, what it 's fought for, and what victory means. If you can understand those three SIMPLE points, you can move onto the more complicated parts of war. Trust me, it gets deep.
-A war is when two or more countries/factions disagree with each other to the point of armed conflict
-War is fought for each countries/factions own interests/belifs
-Victory is when either one side forces the other to surrender, or if both sides come to a mutual agreement to stop the fighting (usually the best case scenario)
IMO its not a 'clear victory' if one side has to resort to nuking the other's civillians, only to get caught up in another war with their own allies a few years later.
War is a means to an end. If you want something done then you have to comb through different means to achieve the goal. Who cares if we use nukes, as long as we don't get nuked or killed, why not. If killing 1 million people will save even 1 American then it is worth it.
But surely nuking civillians, some of whom may not even want to do anything with the war, is an act of cowardice? It's just as bad as Al-Quaeda carbombing civillians to try and make their enemies submit to their will.
isn't that the point of war. To make others submit to your will. When a nation attacks another, it can be justified. Terrorists are not nations, they are rogue groups. Second of all, I am not advocating just nuking people to nuke people. If a civilian population is supportive of your enemy, you need them to fear you, and learn the lesson of what happens to those who support your enemy
That really doesn't sound right to me - because through that logic, 9/11 and the 7/11 London bombings where all perfectly justified. You can't apply different ethics to a faction in war just because they arn't a nation.
Also, the civillian populations of a country don't always want to be part of their governments war, and many civillians don't do anything to contribute to their countries war efforts. That makes them innocent, and therefore their casulties should be avoided at all costs.
the word is collective guilt, people can be held responsible for the actions of their governments. and 9/11 is not justified. Just because it is similar in method to terrorizing people, it does matter who is doing it.
Why does it matter who is doing the terrorising? You target innocent civillians in an act of war, you are a terrorist, it doesnt matter weather you're a leader/soldier of a country or in an insurgent group.
I was gonna go with something meaningful. But instead.
Fast and the furious quote "Winning's, winning" LOL
The enemies of the allies were militarily defeated and surrendered to the allies. There was a victor. But for the common soldiers. They were simply allowed to return home.
It's never going to stop so long as two beings can argue to the point of violence. Best we can do is support a non violent solution to conflicts. But be ready to rise to the occasion if necessary.

sugar, there are no winners in conflict. Sure we won, but how many people were butchered? How many lives were destroyed?
