  • !!!!!!!!! Like!!!!!!

  • Good note precision. But far too rushed. Not only are you ignoring the essential calm theme of the piece, but you're simply trying to play it as fast as you can, so much so that the left hand and right hand parts lose synchronisation and even clarity.

To truly appreciate music, don't just play the notes; understand the composer's basic intentions, and give it your own interpretation.

  • Wow, you did really a good job.

  • is the piano out of tune?

  • You are just pressing the keys. You didn't put your feelings into it. Why put this title? You are not Yundi Li.

  • Could you send me the sheet music? It's so pretty, your interpretation's really good :)

  • Youre playing it too fast imo, it sounds rushed. Take some time in between the notes, especially the climax in the middle of the song. You could also take some of the separation out of the notes to make it smoother, especially when it starts that quiet asian themed part.

  • Hello. Can you please send me the sheet music for this piece. I'd like to play it. Thank you :)

  • i know it is not an easy peace... and you did a good job in playing the notes... but i don´t think you did a good job in making music, cause you leave out any feel, any emotion wich ought to be in this piece...

  • yes often time people mistake playing a wonderful piece by just simply playing the notes.

in order to play well you must play with feel which seems to be lacking from this piece. but give him a break for this difficult piece as it takes time to get the touch down for this piece.

  • Well played

  • no yundi li here :P

  • haha nope not close to yundi li but very very great im learnin how to play this song as of now.

im so inspired by yundi li that im going to learn THIS SONG AND CHOPINS GREATEST!

  • great

  • Why does it says Yundi Li? No yundi Li here :P

  • your piano is out of tune. Nice performance though.

  • beautiful. ignore the random comments about your piano being "out of tune" (I think it's fine, the action isn't affected and all of the keys still sound like notes). You're a very talented pianist. i don;t think I've ever heard a Chinese piece for piano before. At least not one that was famous, like this one, which is featured in many virtuoso's repertoires.

  • haha? sounds VERY CHINA?

  • Chillax, it's his second language.

  • It sounds good, but try to tune your piano

  • not bad ;D, don't speed up too much though ;)

  • OMG I'm sooooo jealous, why so much ppl have a nice piano, and I have a fucked up old crappy "piano" :'( Anyways, nice job ;)

  • PEDAL!!!

    STOP ABUSE OF PEDAL!!!!

  • wow, I really enjoyed listening to this! Nice!

  • Wow, I haven't seen anything so biased and ludicrous as this before...

  • hey man r u a satanism??????

  • amazing! i wished i could play this piece like you.. im trying :)

  • bad dynamics if you ask me... played just the notes, but did not made real music...

  • You're not a critic for a music magazine or something. Don't use those derogatory terms, this performance was beautiful indeed.

  • right.

  • lilrascal1999, your version of this peice is even worse. so stfu.

  • Is that the real Li Yundi? Li Yundi doesn't play like that! Awnser me somebody!

  • LOL haha your funny. ;)

and no its not yundi li. its...*sees user name* shin won tak. =S. lol.

  • ok...

    overall,

    good but rushed...

and that trill at :47 seconds is actually an octave higher.

    i love this piece though.

    pretty good.

  • Maybe you're talking about 1:14? That's the second time around, and should be higher than the first time around.

  • nice tempo!! I like it except you tend to rush in some parts so it sounds a little messy but other than that...really really nice playing! <3 I agree..no one can play like Li Yundi <3

  • hi, where did you find the sheet music for this? i found one on the internet but i found a mistake on it..

  • Don't worry, it's fun to see different ppl play this piece :)

Besides you play it well. I wish I can play this piece some time during my life time, don't care if I suck, if I can play I would be happy already...

  • How can I rewrite the Title?

I just want to change that.

I just didn't wanted to get confused

    between

Sunflower from Henry the jazz pianist

    and Sunflower from Yundi~~~

    anyway~ ^^

  • it got you here to watch his video, didn't it?

  • I think you played very well. If I may give you some input, maybe you could hold on the tempo on 00:26 to make it more grand. Something like a little bit rubato. The rest, is perfect. Well done!

  • i love this song. u did a good job man. how long did it take you to learn it? any tips for osmeone trying to learn this?

  • I think it better to learn from

    LANG LANG then me.

u can find it here in utube

    and thanks for the comment

  • Amazing! Yes, I fell right into this too! :O It's just absolutely magnificent. Well played! 5 stars

  • Gee~~

    Thank you

  • It's funny:When Ronaldinho makes his trick it's unique.And here we've got the same.

When Yundi plays his sunflower,it's unique.

No one is able to do it like him.

But your performance was very good!

  • Yeah I think so too

No one can play like Yundi
