Interesting that you should ask, because I always thought it sounded like Ocarina of Time music.

No, Star Fox 64 was released a year before OoT, but both games were composed by Koji Kondo

and use mostly the same instrument samples (OoT's are of a slightly higher quality I think), so that's where the similarity comes from.

I used Pinnacle Studio 12. All I had to do was re-use the same animation of General Pepper talking again and again, and the rest was pretty simple. Also, I downloaded all the voice clips in the game, so that helped me improve my Pepper impression, and also allowed me to make the Star Fox team say "We're Star Fox!".
