  • Clinton proposed laws requiring airline companies to install security doors in all commercial aircraft. This alone would have defeated the 9/11 terrorists. Unfortunately, this bill faced an uphill battle in a republican controlled house and senate. It was voted down due to bribes from airline lobbyists, masked under the guise of campaign contribution to republican lawmakers.
