I had to delete my old youtube account because of all the hate comments that i recieved. i was getting ten times more hate on videos than positive feedback. I really want to narrate again...but im afraid of being attacked again...
I would imagine that the people who say these things have the same insecurities that they call other people out for. If you have enough time to attack someone else for their views and everything else, grow up and make friends. Does it make someone feel better to put children down and make them feel useless? Its very upsetting, but its the world we live in. Bully's exist, its a sad fact. I have so much respect for you mots and m4g. Thank you for being the good people that you are.

Haydunn is a whole other beast. I'm not a fan of his boyish sense of humour, and as such I stay away from him as well. The reason I bring him up is because he has the largest channel, and thusly represents the community.
The entire community has gone to shit. It used to be about people having fun playing around with some Pokemon. Now it seems to be a gold rush. People are dropping their integrity to try to get to the top as quick as possible. I'll throw some names of people out there.
Shofu and Blak are whores who solely use whatever it takes to win. Thats all fine and cool, and I don't pay them any mind because of it. But, they love to be condescending to others..

But, when you meet these people for who they are as a person, it's pathetic. So, as time moved on, my expectations, motives, love for the community decreased drastically, but that's just me. I am the person who gives constructive ciritism on pmpbetavideos, some say I am blunt or mean when I give my critism, but thats how I am. I can be a very blunt person but I will get my point across to help them get better. I dont like to sugar coat anything that is crap/bad/something I dont like. Especially the beta videos. So I state my mind and help them out in my own way. Ive helped some of the beta posters and a few have come to talk to me about their narration and how they can improve.

Another issue on this community is the "higher up" people... tend to just ignore the "weaker" or lower sub count people. I mean Beta doesn't really help much to this... I mean from personal experience I use to be friends with some now "famous" people and they just flat out ignore me now just due to sub count, or they have more "famous" friends.. :/

People are douchebags sometimes. But some people that are social outcasts are not douches all teh time, for example, me. I am glad to know some people in the community have morals. If you look at it, the most popular people on Youtube, you two, E-Lo, Rik, Zed, seem like really nice, cool individuals that play the game for fun and do whatever the hell they want when they battle . A lot of these people are just whiny little pricks that try to seem cool among the popular douches to get themselves more recognition and subs. It's not about the numbers, its about entertaining, that's what the community should be about.
I think it is quite sad to see these things happen in our community. I thought Pokemon would be untouched by such trolling, but I guess nothing is absolute. I have met some truly outstanding people thanks to this game (Elena and Steve included), found myself a new friend and rival at the event Elena alluded to and two of my closest friends use strategies completely unorthodox and have fun with their teams. In the end, it is all about having fun.

This is why I really really really dislike collaborative youtube channels. All it does is bring you users that don't want to watch your content. Sure it may be a lucky break. But it can also destroy someone's self-esteem. Let's say if I was subbed to pmp, once in a while, I am going to see someone's content that I don't like. So I either skip it or let it rot in my sub box, or watch it and be angry and write a negative response. Unfortunately the beta people get it off much worse... it's like...

I actually just used a UU team in Ubers today. The guy wasn't that great... but his team was fairly standard and I still won. Why the fuck does it matter how other people enjoy the game? I am the person who gives constructive ciritism on pmpbetavideos, some say I am blunt or mean when I give my critism, but thats how I am. I can be a very blunt person but I will get my point across to help them get better. I dont like to sugar coat anything that is crap/bad/something I dont like. Especially the beta videos. So I state my mind and help them out in my own way. Ive helped some of the beta posters and a few have come to talk to me about their narration and how they can improve.

Another issue on this community is the "higher up" people... tend to just ignore the "weaker" or lower sub count people. I mean Beta doesn't really help much to this... I mean from personal experience I use to be friends with some now "famous" people and they just flat out ignore me now just due to sub count, or they have more "famous" friends.. :/

I've said this in other places, but I think it's worth repeating: the problem with the internet is that there are virtually no consequences for bad behavior. People who are perfectly civilized in "real life" will do the most hateful things, whether it's hating on PMPbeta, spamming "Heil Hitler" on the Smogon PO or getting a channel taken down through bogus flagging, simply because, well, they can, and why not? DLDW is the mature attitude, but sadly, it's far from the default one. Sigh...

I am glad to know some people in the community have morals. If you look at it, the most popular people on Youtube, you two, E-Lo, Rik, Zed, seem like really nice, cool individuals that play the game for fun and do whatever the hell they want when they battle . A lot of these people are just whiny little pricks that try to seem cool among the popular douches to get themselves more recognition and subs. It's not about the numbers, its about entertaining, that's what the community should be about.

I think it is quite sad to see these things happen in our community. I thought Pokemon would be untouched by such trolling, but I guess nothing is absolute. I have met some truly outstanding people thanks to this game (Elena and Steve included), found myself a new friend and rival at the event Elena alluded to and two of my closest friends use strategies completely unorthodox and have fun with their teams. In the end, it is all about having fun.

This is why I really really really dislike collaborative youtube channels. All it does is bring you users that don't want to watch your content. Sure it may be a lucky break. But it can also destroy someone's self-esteem. Let's say if I was subbed to pmp, once in a while, I am going to see someone's content that I don't like. So I either skip it or let it rot in my sub box, or watch it and be angry and write a negative response. Unfortunately the beta people get it off much worse... it's like...

I haven't been attacked, but one idiot literally copied and pasted one of my battles on his own channel and claimed it as his own. And when I tried to protest, he called me a "retard" and blocked me. I actually just used a UU team in Ubers today. The guy wasn't that great... but his team was fairly standard and I still won. Why the fuck does it matter how other people enjoy the game? I'm sure you don't rag on your parents for doing what they do to relax, because it probably isn't playing Pokemon. So why would you rag on those who play the SAME game but differently? If people say they only play nu/ru because OU isnt "original" enough for them, its probably because they tried playing OU and got completely destroyed. They cant deal with they fact that they suck (everyone does at the beggining).
