I both love and hate games that lets you skip the cutscenes because in game wise you can skip a scene if you have already seen it before because no one wants to see a cut scene twice am I right? But on youtube wise it would be best to show the cut scenes just in case if someone is seeing this the first time (like me), so no one cares about the youtube time limit you can always just make each recording session into separate parts, so ya. Ya get me?

@TheGumGumMan Yeah, pretty much. I had also recently finished playing through the original, so I used that to remember/memorize the symbols of the various items/abilities/etc

@WyseProductions The Final Mixes were released to incorporate all of the North American bonuses and more. They included things like additional cutscenes, settings, abilities, enemies, and boss battles. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ even went far enough to include the 3D remake of Chain of Memories (Re:Chain). It also included all of the Organization 13 boss battles, even ones who were eliminated in Chain of Memories.

@kingdomheartsmanic Not at all, but at the time, I had played the original KH2 1-2 times through, so there were a lot of things I memorized.

For the most part, I recognized certain items/abilities through their picture, AP cost, or certain symbols in the kanji.

@totodileeater Well, the game is Japanese. The PS2s in Japan differ from the ones in the rest of the world. You need to buy yourself a Swap Magic to play. There are some step-by-step instructions right here on Youtube explaining installation, too.

@KingyoKong Got the game from Play Asia. Search it on Google. You'll also need SwapMagic or a modded PS2 to play the game (Unless you have a Japanese PS2).

I skip just about all the cutscenes, in order to save time. One particular exception is the set of cutscenes that plays after you fight Roxas at Memory's Skyscraper

I have a Slim PS2. You'll want to check the model of your PS2 when you go to get your SwapMagic, that way you'll get the correct materials.

w8 wats the difference between final mix of Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts 2 Final mix? they seem the same to me minus the music and being able to die more easily

Final Mix has new abilities, weapons, items, armors, accessories, etc.

It also has the new Critical Mode, where you only end up w/ 60 HP & 120 MP (Rather than 120 & 140), but you start off w/ 50 more AP and some really nice abilities, as well as dealing 25% more damage to enemies.

In order to play it, though, I bought & used SwapMagic.

I DID already beat Terra, and rather easily at that. I WAS at Level 99.

As for the difficulty, Critical Mode IS actually tough in the beginning. But once you've gotten about halfway through, it gets a lot easier.

the scenes at the beginning of the KH2 aren't that special :P Long, boring, annoying to watch through. Thank god there's an option to skip scenes. And i always go with defense too seeing as i always get hit by everything XD
