Reminds me of CS 1.6 and the kz scene although kz had more depth to the maps and I'd assume requires more skill simply from my own experience. I never was a huge Q3 but but this makes me angry that I wasn't because I missed this gameplay.

How do you turn while keeping the speed of the strafe jumps like at 5:04? I keep trying to do it but it doesn't work.

@Hemmingfish Aim in the direction of the player movement (forward basically); press A or D and move your mouse smoothly, but not too fast.

You lose speed if you press A or D when you're not aiming where the player is heading, so if you're strafing, you'll have to reposition your crosshair a bit. You also lose speed if you turn too fast relative to your speed, but you learn that by experience.

the production has that "mac" look about it which takes away its filmic mystique and makes it feel a little more "homey". But the weapons effects are amazing and i just love DeFRaG movies that don't detract from the runs themselves with unnecessary special effects - in this respect it is BRILLIANT! Very good movie overall. My only complaint is the part where the 3rd track starts: you're trying to introduce the track and show some random scenes from the movie, random scenes that don't really connect to anything, and that goes on for quite a while. That just distracts me (as a viewer) for too long from the actual content, and I was sitting there thinking "come on! back to defrag runs!". (The same 'random scenes' thing crossed my mind during the movies intro, but that's not too bad.)

also, every time I rewatch it I think there's not enough first person view in the first half or so of the movie. I also think you need to somehow better separate the scenes. Usually the time of the run is highlighted at the end in other defrag videos - I've been missing that here, not because I'm curious to know the actual time, but to know that one map is over and the next one started. (I'm not a defrag player, just a lot of q3 years ago.)

@Kirbystar100 hehe, well mostly the maps itself look good, i just color corrected them one by one in Sony Vegas. I used the filters "Color Correction (Secondary), Brightness & Contrast, Color Balance, Levels" you need to play around with these settings to get some really nice outcome. There were like 4-5 maps that was too common, so i decided to remake them. 2 or 3 total remake and some only got texture changed. Its only a small magic but as you see it can present maps better way :)
