@Blu0tuth0ninja First off, I've played the game up to January 2011 and the multiplayer is full of snipers and few players actually play the objective. Also the campaign is a linear, 4 hour, semi realistic experience. I will say the campaign had some memorable sequences like choosing to dive off a mountain or get shot.
@camelridingjihad I consider the multiplayer a separate game because it was made by dice, where as the singleplayer was made by danger close. And I would agree with the fact that it was a short campaign, and it was linear. But thats because it tells a story, and there is no such thing as a real life sandbox war scenario, because orders are being given all the time and soldiers have to obey them. If war was like cod, then there would be huge casualty numbers and no end to the 'war'.

@karinosai A grenade is not a tennis ball. Of course, if you throw it with a 45 degree angle it's range is much bigger, but if I throw a heavy object parallel to the ground I can't make it go more than 30 yards.
Nevertheless, someone considering MoH more realistic than cod because in cod you can throw nades "3 miles" (his words) is stupid. In CoD it falls on my feet compared to a real throwing range.

We could both throw it about 40 yards 2 years ago, but that was before I started working out regularly. I'd probably do that more often with him if he didn't live in the ass-end of Kansas.

I work with guns for a living and I have to say that the back of the gun is a little faded out, but the front and accessories are spot on. Not the real recoil but it depends on the person and weight. The sounds are a little off but who cares, I'm impressed

@M16A3SOPMOD All an m4a1 is is an m16a3 shortened down. Thats why is refered to as a carbine and not a rifle. And the army and marine corps use both weapons. The m4a1 is capable of both 3 round burst and fully auto. The m16a4 is not, which is why the marines PREFER it, and are trained with it in boot camp. Other than that, they can use any weapon they damn well please.

Most of the maps are fought in Close Quarters Combat or "CQB" which iis very close and you won't be shooting away from over 3 miles so get it?
And oh yeah when I played the mission where you operate as an AH-64 gunner I see tracers dropping to the ground and your not actually pointing the gun to the targets to hit them.

The only thing I've been trying to get used to is: no bullet physics - they don't drop in distances even in singleplayer when maps are bigger + you can just shoot right at ur enemy while they're running, unlike MW2 or BC2
I hate how they glorify war in this game in no way is this what its like. Basically its like this my friend gets shot in the knee by a sniper and two riflemen in the poppy field were shooting at them for two hours straight. We call for air support while bullets fly over our my friend john screaming pain the airfield operater sends us a blackhawk to survey the AO which is basically saying go fuck your selfs. And finally pull out the javelin and nail the bastards. Thats war! Its not fun.

you don't need to use SAW to give coverfire in this mission. you can beat this with a hand gun easily even at hard mode. not that great and not that intense fire mission actually.
Why does everyone keep comparing it to MW2? That's like comparing Starcraft and Halo, just because you both fight aliens. Medal Of Honor is obviously much more of a sim than MW2, so there's no story because you just have objectives. This stuff reminds me of Generation Kill more than it reminds me of Three Kings or something.
@KubaBooba yeh i agree and comparing it to mw2, its less detailed graphically, less smooth in video play, gameplay is fine but too short as u said, not enogh range of variety in missions and environments, not much of a storyline like mw2, and when there is ai support its crap compared to mw2, in short, infinityward much out did these guys at ea who i think r quite lazy motherfuckers. think treyarch has done a better job as well, black ops will hopefully make up for this disappointment.

MARINES use both the M16A4 and the M4A3. Depending on what unit you were with and if you rate one, you got an M4. Everyone in my unit has one. M4's will be replacing the gay M16's for most 'combat' units.
The M4A1 is for the SOF community you half wit. Do you know what the difference between a M4A1 and the M4 is? M16's don't have any SOPMODs for them. That's like trying to say Ford Corvette.

@M16A3SOPMOD One, he is a Marine. Secondly, not everyone in the Marine Corps are issued a standard M16A4 rifle. Units who often dismount vehicles are usually field an M4 because it's less cumbersome. Lastly, shut the fuck up. Unless you've served or has the slightest clue about the military, don't run your mouth about something you knows nothing about.

@M16A3SOPMOD All an m4a1 is is an m16a3 shortened down. Thats why is refered to as a carbine and not a rifle. And the army and marine corps use both weapons. The m4a1 is capable of both 3 round burst and fully auto. The m16a4 is not, which is why the marines PREFER it, and are trained with it in boot camp. Other than that, they can use any weapon they damn well please.

I can tell you it's nothing like in COD or airsoft, SOPMOD is a kit that SOF units are issued that allows them to attach anyt sort of optic or undermount attachment that they want to their rifle's rails, i.e. an M4A1 carbine assault rifle. There is no such thing as an M16A3 SOPMOD because the A3 didn't even have picatinny rail systems, it was just a fully automatic alternation to the A2. This kids a joke.

The Special Operations Peculiar Modifications kit is an accessory system that allows spec ops capable operatives to change and configure their weapon to their individual preferences and/or mission requirements. They are made for the M4A1 carbin assault rifle and FN-SCAR 16/17.

Why this game doesn't have bullet drop is....
Most of the maps are fought in Close Quarters Combat or "CQB" which iis very close and you won't be shooting away from over 3 miles so get it?
And oh yeah when I played the mission where you operate as an AH-64 gunner I see tracers dropping to the ground and your not actually pointing the gun to the targets to hit them.

The only thing I've been trying to get used to is: no bullet physics - they don't drop in distances even in singleplayer when maps are bigger + you can just shoot right at ur enemy while they're running, unlike MW2 or BC2

I hate how they glorify war in this game in no way is this what its like. Basically its like this my friend gets shot in the knee by a sniper and two riflemen in the poppy field were shooting at them for two hours straight. We call for air support while bullets fly over our my friend john screaming pain the airfield operater sends us a blackhawk to survey the AO which is basically saying go fuck your selfs. And finally pull out the javelin and nail the bastards. Thats war! Its not fun.

Why does everyone keep comparing it to MW2? That's like comparing Starcraft and Halo, just because you both fight aliens. Medal Of Honor is obviously much more of a sim than MW2, so there's no story because you just have objectives. This stuff reminds me of Generation Kill more than it reminds me of Three Kings or something.

@KubaBooba yeh i agree and comparing it to mw2, its less detailed graphically, less smooth in video play, gameplay is fine but too short as u said, not enogh range of variety in missions and environments, not much of a storyline like mw2, and when there is ai support its crap compared to mw2, in short, infinityward much out did these guys at ea who i think r quite lazy motherfuckers. think treyarch has done a better job as well, black ops will hopefully make up for this disappointment.
