Actually bringing cats into Japan is not difficult but takes time. You need to apply for that with a health test result from your vet a long, probably like a half year?, before you bring them in. Otherwise your cat can be held at the facility of airport for almost a half year or so in order to prevent disease like rabies. On the other hand, bringing them into U.S. is much easier.
Aw, I also missed my pets while living in Japan. I didn't really miss them as much as you're saying, but when I came home I felt really happy to see them again. :D
I too have always had pets (cats) in my life. Cats are probably my fave pet. :)
Oh, and I'm sure you could safely bring your animals back to Japan with you. My husband was telling me that it wouldn't be a problem. (at least for the cat)
Hehe i have (had) the same cat toy for our cat... some kid from downstairs killed it though (the toy...not my cat) and that cricket that stayed on the geckos head was pretty smart.. AND i just realized how long your hair was.. and i remembered. when i think Japanese i think long hair. In animes and on shows and stuff they seem to often have very long hair. is this true? is it common to see people with long hair? (longer than like shoulder blade length) cute plant. HOPE IT SURVIVES!
Hmm...well, I haven't seen much super long hair here, like what you would see in an anime. I think short hair is kind of popular for Japanese girls right now, so I see a lot of shoulder-length hair.
Yesterday I actually saw a guy with really long hair, though (down to his waist). I was quite surprised.
I'm loving Japan. While there isn't much to do in my town, I still wouldn't call it boring. If I'm bored I can just take a stroll somewhere outside and feel better.
Tokay is doing well! He has yet to make noises for us though. :(
