we never needed PMCs in Iraq, this was an example of the military industrial complex. The defense budget for PMC's profits went up over 25% last fiscal year when the budget is over 100 billion dollars. Blackwater is sueing the families of the four killed in fallujah, blackwater is a corporation used by the bush white house because of their training, their skills, and their immunity. You dont have to worry too much as a contracter in Iraq but soldiers have to watch every shot.

how about because private contractors (Mercenaries) cost, at a minimum, twice as much as US soldiers? How about because they are not accountable for their actions? If a soldier opens fire on unarmed civilians, they will be brought before a military tribunal. They can act with impunity, slaughtering whoever they want to at will.

If Bush needed more soldiers for Iraq, perhaps he should have had recruiting stepped up. It's not like he couldn't have waited - after all, Iraq had no WMDs.

The PMC do the work the soldiers did in the past but charge 4x the cost of a normal soldier.

Private Military Companies are bad for USA because they are loyal to nothing but the dollar.
