hardly a collapse, thou its not very pleasant to watch. Still 1.6km and 2.0 is pretty decent, because you probably won't notice anything over 1 km of range in plain sight, unless its a tank. And not mentioning that there are no combats in arma2 over 1km on regular basis. more than 2.0 is useful only during flights. In trooper combat its useless, in tank combat (in arma2 lol of course) too.

Your videocard doesn't produce enough framerates. You can test this by installing 'FRAPS' and see what your framerate is. Anything below 25fps is not very convenient. Others will say anything lower than 60 is not great.

You won't be able to play Arma 2 with a G33/G31. You need atleast a Geforce 260GTX or a 280GTX to play this properly. An ATI 4850 will also do, or a 5870.

After when we captured town we taked out Tunguskas and one of our Blackhawks come in (He didnt see us so we throwed smoke) We jumped in and captured 3 other towns with same tactic. (It was one British Evolution server i dont remember its name but the people played with teamwork)

Well Arma 2 is actually better than OPF2 in many ways. Not going to write em up the list is huge, but the only thing thats better in OPF2 is the movement and the weapons quality and the sounds on most things. Editor in arma 2 RULES!!!

yeah; ive only seen vids of gameplay, but i have a friend who bought it yesterday, used his paycheck i might add, because he said it looked like a pretty cool game. He and I play ArmA 2, and after about 15 minutes of play, at most, he quit and said that its very arcade like and the graphics are a bit more filtered compared to ArmA 2's vast graphic engine. Sure, ArmA 2 doesnt have the best voice sound, but, responding to S--tMovies2000, the multiplayer, along with editor, are the best components.

I was not impressed with this game at all, the sound effects are okay but the games shader engine looks outdated and the people all look like their saran wrapped. me too, the flash is not seen during day in real life, only movies use special hollywood like ammunition filled with flashpowder so the guns have a 1m flash. That's really what soldiers need in a battle lol. They should completely remove the flash and during night show it. The flash seems to be a sprite that goes on and off rather than an animated flash :(

I can't say much about fps because so much factores play a role here, viewdistance, resolution, other settings, the map, which direction you look or walk - forrest or plain grass, if it's night or day or sundown... I need a benchmark to give a proper answer about my framerate. I tell you one thing, everything on highest with 10k viewdistance on a big map kills my pc :)
