The inconvenient truth is that as much as humans like to think they're above the rest of the animal kingdom we're not. All of our actions have consequences, consequences that are good for some species, bad for another.

If temperatures rise moderately then some species will thrive, others will perhaps perish. It's the same with all life in all environments, they are in a constant state of flux and humans are not the ones to dictate which situation is best. We are not God!
