The masking looks really complicated in things like this , can someone find me a link to download "After Effects" ive tried many and so far none have worked or maybe an installation tutorial?
@OfficialSquadBoyz just download a trial from adobe.com, but this is 64bit and if you have a 32bit computer, you will need to get CS4. and it´s real hard to download because adobe removes old versions from trial download list. :(
What programs do you use? I am guessing after effects and cinema 4d but like how do you get the fire to look like it burning something. Make a tutorial on how to get realistic fire to burn something =D
@bouchandre ohhh lolz. I thought you'd use cinema 4d for the burning effects as the bush burns like the stuff comes off. I thought you would of animated it. But please make a tutorial!
@Drewza3462 you mean the orange glow? Well I don't really remember, I think that I pre-composed all the fire elements so it would be only 1 layer. Then I duplicated this layer and blurred the bottom one a lot. The blurred layer was put on add or screen mode (you can tweak the transparency) and the top one had no transfer mode because the collapse transformation switch was one.
hey this is an amazing job, just love it, but i need to ask one important question buddy, did you purchase these prodects off from videocopilot or is there any other cheap way to get this done , please help me out!

Subbed. Love your vids. Do you make tutorials? You probably do. If so, I should start watching them and try my best to catch up with your skills. I really need to learn vfx. Me and my buddies are planning on making a big (or probably normal sized) project during summer. Learning tricks like these would come in handy. Keep it up.
Good job! I think that shooting with a black hoodie in front of a white closet might've made it easier to rotoscope... I'm missing logic with my FX lolz
@iamaparth You mean how do I remove tha blank background behind me? I did it in two ways. I first was by using the rotobruch tool in after effects cs5. The second way was by applying a high contrast on the clip (in the shots when I was in front of a white wall) and rotoscoping the white logo on my jacket so I was black and the rest was white. Then I applied the invert filter so I was white and the rest was black.
@pgibsvideos It's not a tutorial, it's a breakdown - Shows you the steps and work behind the finished product. Not intended to teach you anything, just to let you in on the process.
dude you are the best im geting after effects cs4 so can you do the tutorials in the editor its just hard to see what your doing because i have no idea what tools you are useing:(
This is amazing! Could you give more details on the color correction and how to make the foreground and background blend? Thanks for the vfx breakdown. Please do some more like this.
