Imagine your job is announcing these matches, thats gotta be a hard look in the mirror... Whats the first place prize for this competition? A new beer bong?
@asozialette doing the same trick over and over again consistently = performance and hard training... trust me, i'm playing for two years now and i'm light years far away from these guys...
Insidefoos is obviously the best videos on the net. The great camera angles and the even greater Jim Stevens make them 1st class. However I'm a bit surprised with all the boot leg movie and tv show sites out there, I haven't come across any sites that have all or a bunch of the Insidefoos videos.
@Djonasz : Watch, Frederico is leaving first, it's not clearly to see, but you can see at the end he has already left the Table while Tony is still going away!
Not impressed by the two of t best players that ever played duke it out? You're f--ked up. You may want to look for a polar bear riding a tricycle whilst juggling 3 flaming bowling pins. Maybe THEN you'll be impressed. BTW, I like Tonys' second goal were he steals it, passes it, pins it, and shoots it all in about 2 seconds.
Ever played agains Rico Collignon? This guy is from another planet dude. He's the only reall all round champion on every table. When this guy get's fired up, he makes you loose in awe.
the game of these two players is truely impressive. You can tell how dominate they are in the sport by the nuance of their respective games - the speed at which they execute passes/shots. The incredible reaction time and eye-hand coordination for pick-ups and rebounds, the split-second 'read, respond an execution' abilities; the lightening fast transition game. It's simply amazing.
rico dominates everyone else on the other tables becuase he plays on the other tables. Nothing against rico its just that too much is made of it. We dont play on 10 differant tables.
It's not about Tornado - it's about table soccer. Alot is made about the fact that Fred dominates on all tables because that's what the game is all about. No matter what table you approach or what ball you're given, you know you can beat any opponent or come close to it. That's what being the best in the world is all about.
So if American's want to be considered the best, they better start playing on different tables, like the Europeans do.
Tony may be the better Tornado player, but only on Tornado. Rico dominates not only Tony but everyone else on everything else (but now a 17 year old wondakid is giving Rico a hard time on Garlando and Loewen).
US players may be top ranked in Tornado standings but there are usually no more than 2 in the world rankings. They need to start playing on other types of tables if they want to be deemed as 'the best'.
You mean Kevin Hundsturfer? The 17 year old kid? Well Rico Collignon always comes up with something new, some style from outer space, from a distant planet.... Kevin maybe, one day, will be just a good.
i love the way spredeman plays when he would just explodes..his 5 bar skills is amazing to watch..and he is definitely one of the most exciting players to watch..tic tac 5 bar stick pass..really good vid..
Seems like you can hear the action on the table (pinning, catching passes, goals, etc) much better on this video compared to other InsideFoos foos videos. Have they changed how they mic the matches? I really like it.
I have an application that allows me to play YT vids at 1/8 the speed (great for foosball vids). And I had to use it for that pass. And I still almost couldn't make out where he hit the ball. But from what I could tell it was a chip lane pass with the ball hit right on the corner of the man.
At that speed I don't think even Tony could hit an accurate chip, against the direction of the ball. It looked and sounded to me like a lightning bounce pass - pinning Rico defensively to the wall. That's how Jim called it, too. Wow.
I don't know. Honestly (and I mean no disrespect to Billy) but I think he isn't as driven as he use to be. I read in the forums that he's into Guitar-something-or-other computer games and poker and stuff like that. So yeah, maybe he is getting bored. It's too bad. LOTS of potential at such a young age.
You can't stand still in this game. Too many players always getting hooked and looking to get better.
I still think Collignon is the best all around player, but I also think Spredeman has the best 5 bar in the game. Problem with his 5-bar technique is that it's not so applicable on other tables. Maybe that's why Tony isn't beating Rico regularly on other tables.
But Tony is beating him on a regular basis on Tornados these days. Should be an interesting couple of years coming up on the tours.
Rico is always intimidated by him on Tornado for his 5-bar. But his game is so effective on all tables. A brush and chip pass, front pin, and 2-5 pass can work on all tables. But Tony's unique 5-bar can't really be applied on Euro tables due to the shape of the men, he'll def lose the ball. I heard he uses a near-side brush series. IMO, Tony should go far wall brush on the other tables since he's superior in reading defense on the far wall. A far wall stick option series could work, right?
I agree with "he'll def lose the ball". I mainly play on Garlando WC and for the life of me I can't get it to tic-tac like that on the 5 man. And I've TRIED. And I think far wall would work simply because most players are use to defending THEIR far wall and not their near wall. And Tony seems to have the far wall mastered. But I also think the visual is better when you defend your near.
Stick or brush, I think either would work with higher percentages than the tic-tac on Euro tables
Oh my God, the way Spredeman handles that five bar. If that ball was a person, it would be vomiting all of the table. And his snake-shot, in just one word, DAMN!!!! Lots of respect for Tony. As a super rookie, it's my dream to beat Collignon on the Eurosoccer (Jupiter) table. (There's nothing wrong with dreaming, is there.)

Tony was from the loser's bracket so he had to beat Fred twice, this was the first game Tony won, so he didn't just snub Fred :)
