I've been trying to find this episode of the Steve Allen show. Can't find it anywhere. Such a fun rendition of this classic from 'My Fair Lady'. Sammy was the best!

I find myself laughing joyfully with a tear in my eye.

The older I become (40) the more I see how incredible singers and performers like Sammy, Frank, Dean, Nat, Ray and a few others were (and still are) the real deal.

I truly miss these performers and with these nostalgic gems on youtube Ill be smiling all day.

I realize now what my father was saying all along.

Does anybody else see that? No backup dancers, no crazy lighting, no lip syncing, no scanty dressing. Just some music and two guys who probably loved performing better than we loved watching. Entertainment today is a total sham. Thanks again, Joe.
