The AK Lightning Bolt and the AK Lightning Lever are BOTH 922r parts. Our US international distributor US Tactical Supply handles all of our ITAR stuff and this is considered a part heavily modified enough to be a 922r part.
I am interested in the safety catch being used. My Rommie's safety to way too stiff to operate with one finger. It there an alternate part being used of is this Krink just worn in.
Short Barelled Rifles are easy to buy in the SBR legal states like Nevada for example. All you have to do is pay a $200 tax and submit the proper paperwork which is an extensive background check that wont clear for about 3 to 6 months. If you are a clean record, law abiding US citizen then it shouldnt be a problem. SBR AKs in Las Vegas sell for about $1000. Or bypass all that and just buy the AK "pistol" version (same gun) just dont ever mount a stock! accuracy will suck but its still fun.
Is florida an SBR legal state? I hear the application for suppressors is the same. I probably won't mess with it for a while though. Given our political situation, the less uncle sam knows, the better.
Isn't this a SBR (short barell rifle) that is considered Class III restricted? I researched the part you are offering, but I originally was wondering how you had such a short AK (and if I could convert mine).
That is not considered a class 3 firearm be cause that ak is made like that so it is considered a pistol not a rifle . If the ak barrel was saw off to make it shorter then he would need a class 3 permit. ak74 krinkov.
wrong wrong wrong, this is a SBR or short barreled rifle NOT a pistol, it is a 200 dollar transfer/registration tax 90 day wait and a couple fingerprint cards. it is classified as Class 3 because of the transfer tax requied. check your facts there high speed, its NOT a pistol. pistols with stocks are ALSO class 3 transfer/permit weapons.
lol i thought he didn't have a stock but yes this is a SBR. but if he had a fake can suppressor or a barrel extension weld'd on to complete the 16 inches then he wouldn't need all that paper work. wright batman.
so basicly you just make a bolt carrier with the charging handle on the right side? or do ou do special mods. to the bolt carrier? i know on the receiver cover you cut it or something. But looks badass makes tacticol loads alot easier.

Just do what I did, bend it out a little, and maybe file down the dimple.
