There is a flaw in your science. There are more than 2 lipoproteins. There are triglycerides (fats converted from sugar) and VLDLs, which are cause by high carbohydrate consumption. The smaller, more dense VLDLs are the ones that tend to clog the arteries, not the LDLs. If what you say is true, we would expect to find plaque evenly coated throughout the veins, but it is only found in the large arteries in the thoracic cavity.

@jreily88 Saturated fat's saturated fat. Doesn't matter where you get it from, it still has the same effects. However, many fast foods are likely to contain other harmful things (like trans fats).
no not all saturated fat is the same. Your brain tissue is composed of about 60-70% saturated fat. Saturated fat, along with cholesterol are the precursors to your hormones and it's what provides structural ridgidity to your cells. The health organization likes to make claims that saturated fat is bad for us, when they have absolutely no evidence to show for it, other than fast food. Even the whole lipid hypothesis that came about in the 50s was flawed, yet it's stil used.
@jreily88 Uh, I think that you might be coming on a bit strong with the "absolutely no evidence to show for it", but I completely agree, saturated fat is not a universal evil.
I apologize. There is some evidence to show that saturated fat is bad, but that's mainly in fast food or processed foods. However, in my opinion, there isn't really enough evidence to show without a doubt that saturated fat is bad no matter what. Two perfect examples are the masai tribe in africa and the inuit in the arctic. Both of these cultures' diet contains nearly 100% meat and yet they have some of the lowest cholesterol levels of anyone in the world.
@jreily88 I'd agree with pretty much everything you say here, yeah. Indeed, the ongoing debate over saturated fat is one of the most interesting foodie/nutrition crossovers right now. (Particularly when you take into account the fact that the link between high cholesterol and better mortality outcomes that some researchers have noted).
Another thing. Your body cannot assimilate or absorb calcium or vitamin D, or Omega 3s without saturated fat. If you don't believe me, just look at all these women, not just those in their 60s and 70s, but some even in their 40s who are on low fat diets and taking calcium pills, thinking they might actually work.
@kamikazecookery If your theory was true, then bypass surgery would not be possible, because the graph artery from the leg would be just as clogged with plaque as the thoracic artery. LDL does not just randomly cling to all arterial walls. It only is found where inflammation of the arterial wall has occurred. More blood flows through the thoracic arteries than the arms or legs, so they suffer more damage from high glucose levels and insulin. Do some study.
If you already know the answer then why ask in the first place? I really don't care about the error, if you already know who it is then why are we talking?
@jvillinger some cases such as mine are an exception. also in this case its just common sense I was being sarcastic since we all know zero punctuation is the name of the show and not a person.
Not really, my Mother doesn't know who Yahtzee / Ben is.
"zero punctuation is the name of the show and not a person"
Sure I made an error. But frankly your wasting my time arguing over semantics when frankly I don't care if I made an error. Let's use the internetz for making constructive arguments agreed?
@jvillinger you can tell my first reply was sarcasm due to its sentence structure, you also saw your error so I couldnt be doing anything but being sarcastic.
anyone familiar with zero puncuation will know.
and if you dont care I think you should stop because I wont untill you do.
So are you trying to tell me all you do on YouTube is go around and have testoterone fueled 'who can be more stubborn' contests with people over extremely pointless matters that have no constructive thought? Well by all means, take this one. Another victory to the pointless crusade.
Other fat issues include excessive ratio of omega-6 polysaturated fats to omega-3 polysaturated fats. Which maybe proinflammitory and the reverse maybe true of
safer ratios. Oh I have toght my 5-6 year old nephews to not eat trans fat. We call it a trans fatty nightmare.
Oddly I noted the other day that the saturate fat stearic acid does not seem to elevate LDL.
So technically if high purity stearic glyceride was available it could give you all the nice properties of saturated fat and trans fat (solid room temp, resist oxidation, high smoke point)but with minium healh effects.
ISRAPHEL is a trans fat!
