  • shes funny , with grapes by the side LOL

    Ghana all day

  • beauttifu; storyy":)

  • thank you for SHARING

  • I am wanting to do some videos on succeeding in college. I thought this video was realy well put together and structured with an engaging personal story that helped communicate some principles of use to most students. I apreciated your mentioning the need to get beyond the initial "study 24-7" assumption and allow yourself to engage in the breadth of experiences that make college such a rich educational enviornment.

  • I must say that the most important comment she made was that in many first generation families the mistake that is made is thinking that college is the final achievement. The reality is that much is to be done when it comes to preparing for the professional world. Moreover, we need to focus on entrepreneurship. We often ignore the possibility of being your own boss.

  • I am from Ghana as well :)

  • very nice ! u r a good gal

  • wow she looks lik a princess

  • There needs to be more internships, and other forms of networking when the student graduates because it is hard to find a job in their various fields. It's not what you know, but who you know and thats' sad.

  • Why is the hair straightened? It's about a West African and discovering yourself...why doesnt she recognize her roots and stop wearing her hair like the white woman!

  • @Quiteness why do ppl always say wearing ur hair straight means u want to be like a white woman??OH MY GOSH!!CAN'T A PERSON JUST WANT STRAIGHT HAIR! does it have to be connected with trying to be white?!! dang!!! some black ppl wear their hair straight becuz it is more MANAGEABLE. when ur hair is in its natural state and it is all kinky curly, IT IS HARD to manage and style. Wearing ur hair straight has nothing 2 do with not recognizing her roots. SHE IS AN AFRICAN PRINCESS for crying out loud!

  • @elegance212

Lets see, maybe because before the white man came to Africa, PUT THE AFRICAN WOMAN DOWN BEFORE HIS WHITE WOMAN, there was nobody running around trying to straighten their hair and use skin creams to get rid of the blackness.

Kinky hair is not HARD to manage, the problem is with black women who perm their hair ALL their lives and dont know how to do their NATURAL hair. Hard to manage is what advertisers sell you! What about kinky hair being unprofessional in the workplace?

  • @Quiteness i get ur point but honey, advertisers don't try to sell me ANYTHING. i'm smart enough to use my brain thank you very much. So what do u say to other non black ppl with extremely curly hair and they spend hours straightening their hair every mornin? THEY ALSO WANT TO BE WHITE?! THEY ARE ALREADY WHITE! Sometimes a person, just wants to get their hair straight. I have relaxed hair, but i know my kids will have natural hair 'cuz i didn't know what i know now about natural hair.

    God bless

  • @elegance212

Non black women that straighten their hair? #1 if you are speaking about Latin women, then 90% of the time you are talking about a Mulatto woman or some woman with a degree of African ancestry. If you are talking about Asian women or other women, then it is because YES, they are appealing to a white standard of beauty. All women are affected by it. How about the perm itself..did you know when u die you will have a green film under the scalp from the chemicals in the perm?

  • @elegance212 yeah dats exactly wat it means..why are u tryna "manage" ur hair in da first place, and wat are u tryna "manage" ur hair to be like, hummm let guess,straight?..i thought so..slave masters led us black ppl to believe dat our hair is ugly, led us to believe dat being dark is ugly..read about willie lynch..plus whats wrong with wearing ur hair in its natural state?..wite ppl do it everyday, dreads are manageble..so i dont buy the whole "manage" crap

  • Very impressive..im very proud of you...

  • No matter what you all say this is a beautiful girl.

  • hell no beauty comes from the west.africa started in the west.dont get it twisted

  • haha...you need to read alot more....source of evolution is in the great rift valley in east africa....the builders of pyramids, and first pharoes were nilotics (nubian and Luos)

  • no disrespect, but i think east african women are more beautiful than west african...in generality....but ofcourse there are beautiful women in west africa too

  • Most of the East African beauties are mixed right? I'm just asking!

  • @simbakafiri u say that b/c they r lighter in complexion so what u saying Darks is lovely get it right no disrespect

  • Not all immigrants come here out of there free will.

  • I had no choice in the matter idiot.

  • I think its great what you have done thru youtube. I only wish that you can reach more with ur positive based agenda. It it not often that we can see someone bridge the gap between here and our homeland. I think that it should be understood that whatever your fortune is, you are able to speak for the mass of our young black youth who can not, by financial or ignorance to its importance, travel to Afrika. Give us more detail on ur attitude prior to, and its significance, post Afrika
