These Started out as a Doo wop Group in the 50'sand then went on to be a Northern Soul in the 60's. Infact Anthony was origionally the Lead in the Duponts and the Chesters and has records dating back to about 1955.

Not oldies shows their records were some of the hits then. As far as doo wop goes I often wonder myself "who the hell" started that crap anyway. Probably chicken-sissy-boy-cousin brucie type.

welll thats not the complete story.frankie cut some good sides in the early 60s but he wasnt signed to a lable for no more than 2 years after leaving roulette.and on top of that it was the promotion,and some off the songs werent that great.he did do a song that sounded like this called "sweet and lovely".
