  • The power of soul. What a song.

  • firme rola, ese! orale!!

  • Little Anthony had the best voice of all the doo wop and early soul singers. He was on every note. His foot work inspired quite a few of the people who followed.

  • @stevedpattison1 Inspired? What like Michael Jackson?

  • 名曲だぁね☆

  • anyone know who sings a song that says dime mi vida si me quieres tell me my darling if you love me

During and after michael jackson there was Little Anthony.

  • Before micheal jackson there was little anthony.

  • I never tire of listening.

  • Linda Ronstadt did a cover of this song, but nothing beats the original

  • his songs go right to the heart.

I second that emotion! It never fails to give me a thrill every time I have the good fortune to hear it!

  • This dude had some serious pipes!!

  • I dedicate this song to my Sister I t really hurt me when she died and she love Little Anthony and the Imperials this is how I was introduced to real music which really had meaning.

  • it was these sort of groups that made music in the 50's 60's 70's so great. if only music like this was still around....

  • Cool&Smooth!

  • I didn't realize just how sharp these guys were. I believe this was right about the time Michael was starting.

  • These Started out as a Doo wop Group in the 50'sand then went on to be a Northern Soul in the 60's. Infact Anthony was origionally the Lead in the Duponts and the Chesters and has records dating back to about 1955.

  • They made some of the greatest torch songs ever! Love this song, love lil Anthony!!!

  • Love his voice and the group is superb.

  • Amazing! When groups could sing and perform

  • good music , he loves his fist

  • {{{ANTHONY}}}

  • Don't call them a doo-wop group. Little Anthony didn't like to be called a doo wop group.

  • He didn't like to be called Little either, you don't always get what you want

  • @nipsipone lol

  • @nipsipone thats funny. nice comeback

  • @nipsipone I just spoke to him yesterday... He doesn't mind the 'Little' so much... but he HATES being classified as Doo Wop.....

  • @1clickhawaii Cause they're not a DOO WOP group. Of course he doesn't mind the LITTLE why mess with success. Anthony ain't stupid. Did shows many times with these guys when I was IN RADIO. Not oldies shows their records were some of the hits then. As far as doo wop goes I often wonder myself "who the hell" started that crap anyway. Probably chicken-sissy-boy-cousin brucie type.

  • @nipsipone That's crap he could've stopped that years ago. Who told you that? it never ceases to amaze me. No wonder ZeroBama got elected.

  • @nipsipone lol so true

  • Any one else notice if u stop it at 1:09 the screen is green?

  • yes it does...

  • Nice fist pumping XD

  • of my all time fave doo woop groups ever, thanks guys

  • they don't make em like this anymore,it's a shame really. :(

  • shivers down my spine ktf

  • Grant Green did a very good instrumental

  • Has anyone got Dionne Warwick singing this from her album Soulful, it too was great.

  • HURTS SO GOOOOOD

  • 1965 reached #5 on Billbaord Chart

  • So Cool................

  • Lil Anthony was the one they all copied. He was just special.

  • y did people give your comment the thumbs down/

  • Oh ,mrarches, I never meant to make people feel unpleasant. For example, I like The Clovers" Blue Velvet" (soulful)and I think Bobby Vinton's cover is not bad.(pops)

But anyway I don't wanna leave my comment that makes people feel uncomfortable and I delete it.

I appriciate you just let me know.

  • i couldnt see what was wrong with it but?

  • I don't see either,but it's true some people felt bad.

The reason I delete it is I just don't wanna see my comment with red numbered THuMB DOWN's

  • As amazingly fabulous Little Anthony is, try replaying this and focus specifically on his famed background vocal trio. How they sing, "Hurt!, Hurt!, Hurt so baaad!", and cross their arms across their bodies (the hurting heart..the heartbreak) when they deliver the lyrics - FABULOUS! They are also one of the GREATEST group-background vocal trio of all time, ever, in the history of music. Check out what they do for the fabulous Little Anthony is the song "I'm on the Outside Looking In".
