  • What a gorgeous interpretation

  • Can't hear the sops ):

  • @lightcookie1 Though the women are standing on stage, this is a TTBB arrangement, no Sopranos. :)

  • :55 that moment when you get chills cause of that one Tenor who just melts your heart.... O_O

  • If you enjoyed this video, I promise that you'll LOVE the American Boychoir recording of Ave Maria by Richard Clark. Just type "Ave Maria Clark" into the Youtube search box and enjoy!

  • I just melted.

  • OMG! An SATB choir and not dominated by the sopranos! GO TENORS!

  • This has to be so awkward for the women lol. Just standing there haha

  • It feels like the Spirit of the Lord writing upon your soul...

  • What I'd give to be conducted by Rene Clausen :) <3

  • I have found that music like this inspires young people more than any other kind. It is so sad that secondary schools all over the country are slowly dismantling music programs, depriving countless youth the opportunity to experience the richness that this music provides. Music like this is a life changer for the better. Todays kids need more stuff like this to inspire them.

  • @JAnthony37 Yes, yes they do.

  • This was great almost as good as chanticleer. I felt that the guys in the background were controlled to much and the 3 in the front were way to loud. I felt the ending could have been louder and more dramatic with dynamic changes i felt the last minute or so was all mezzo forte. I think they should have used more crescendos on those moving notes. Other then that I thought it was good.

  • This is really beautiful, yes. But the tenor one soloist is too loud and is drowning out the baritone and second tenor soloist. Not that the guy doesent sound amazing, because he does, but he is way too loud in comparison to the other two members of that trio. Still, very beautiful indeed.

  • The best choral version of this song I've seen on the internet.... hands down....The Cornell University one is decent also... the Chanticleer version without the NAVY Glee Club is great also

  • this choir is reflecting the impeccable leadership on the part of this choral conductor. He did a wonderful job teaching these guys phrasing, balance, vowel shape, and most importantly confidence in what they were singing.

  • I agree with all the comments on the excellence of the Tenor section. The tone is almost uniquely well produced.

  • Very beautiful! This was sung at the 2010 Christmas concert.

  • 3:38 !!

  • surprised he didn't give the solos to the three soloists lol but it sounded great no matter

  • This is beautiful... I am getting chills down my spine. Very good dynamics and smoothness.. So glad to hear this beautiful piece of music. :)

  • This has to be one of my all time favorite videos. Simply awesome.

  • My brother was in this choir but graduated last year C:

  • wish i could be part of something like this...

  • beautiful :)

  • Love it ! It's great that the men used such full-bodied voices to carry through this song .....

  • absolutely great performance...

  • I think im in love with the tenors voice!

  • @steak2468 Don't you love tenors =D

  • 5:02

  • Emphasis on three, offset by two. I wouldn't try too hard to do what the composer already did for you. Beautiful voices, unfortunate sensibilities.

  • this is stunning. nice rich bass. great phrasing... I really like this.
