The foal is just being introduced to dogs, which is fine.

Might be better if the dog was calmer but he is only trying to play, because the foal is showing play signs. It is far better off the dog copping a kick from a foal then a full grown horse that dislikes dogs because no one ever introduced him to them.

They learn I've seen probally one dog get kicked 5 times by a horse. this same dog has been hit by a car 8 times. as for my dog we were in the process of training her to heard and they way we normally do it is to let there instincts take over at first. My mare wouldn't turn so she snapped at her feet THe dog was doing her job.
