You're absolutely right. People tend to forget that Apple wasn't first with touchscreen mobiles or motion sensitive mobiles. Everyone copy everyone. It's always been like that and always will be. There's a reason most operating systems look pretty much alike, for instance.

The screen is actually the same exact quality. over the zune though it is more pixely but larger and the ipod is more crisp but smaller. ipod and zune both have a 320-by-240-pixel resolution. ipod is 163 ppi and the zune site doesn't say but because the screen is bigger its has to be less ppi. So there really is no comparison
Not if you're compareing it with the iPod Touch. Touch has a bigger screen touch screen, and you can do anything you can do on a zune + more. alot more...

Thats a pretty lame statement to say the lease. The Zune 120 and the iphone are not on the same level. The Zune competes with the Ipud classic not the iphone or the ipud touch. Of which the puny 32GB version are $499, and $399 respectively - $150 to $250 more than the 120GB Zune.

Ipods also come in 120 gigs, Zune forces you to use the zune marketplace as opposed to Itunes, which lets you import songs from limewire(WHERE EVERY SONG EVER IS FREE!), It has a bigger screen but the resolution is the same (thats like how a 50 inch t.v. with a hundred pixels looks worse than a 2 inch t.v. with a hundred pixels), and MICROSOFT SUCKS. The screen is actually the same exact quality. over the zune though it is more pixely but larger and the ipod is more crisp but smaller. ipod and zune both have a 320-by-240-pixel resolution. ipod is 163 ppi and the zune site doesn't say but because the screen is bigger its has to be less ppi. So there really is no comparison

Ipod sell better because of their reputation, and the nano is the mostpopular model right now, because the shullfe is featureless and screenless, the classic is (was) too buggy and fragile, and the touch is a bit pricey.
The touch was my first choice, for all the features and its sound quality, but i still love my black nano.
The Zune is just pricey, and it may have been a rip-off of ipods. But you will definitely be shocked by its sound quality, so it isn't that bad.
