Sounds really nice! Is it loud or annoying on the highway at all? I have the same car/engine and I'm now considering this. I also have an awesome muffler shop nearby. Thanks.
@shottto You simply replace a muffler with a straight pipe. Any exhaust shop will know what to do. Its a good idea to reset the ecu as well so you get a fresh tune. Beware removing mufflers will increase boost.
@privatealpha That is not true at all. Removing mufflers do NOT increase the boost level. It helps turbos to spool up faster due to less back pressure. FYI, turbo cars do NOT need any back pressure. Turbo(s) alone provides sufficient back pressure.
thats not straight pipes though thats where you delete everything like i did to my saab and you have no mufflers cats or resonators to stop your flow and it sounds incredible.

Love watching these videos of people sitting there revving it up. You realize it is bad for the turbos right?

You are a genius for doing this, the Allroad is absolutely a dream car. It's a shame the manuals are so rare.

Do you have any specs on how to do the delete? I got an AR and think about doing the delete. Also did you get any improvement in performance?

@privatealpha do the turbos run higher risk of getting f'ed up? I live outside the US and the turbos cost a fortune
shottto 1 year ago
@shottto It wont effect the turbo at all, probably only 1-2psi increase which is nothing. Check your local area though, it may not be legal.

Mufflers do NOTHING for pollution, aside from noise pollution.
