  • @ozzyguy67

Many Chinese believe Japan has yet to apologise properly for its invasion and occupation of China in the years leading up to and during the war.

Two walls at the camp will be inscribed with the names of the prisoners of war.

  • @AlienFirefox

    Beware of the above idiot...

He is also a drunken old cunt.

The true legend of Cock Odor Trail was just that. A drunken splurge of debauchery of the so-called Australian army. These faggots looted and robbed citizens from Libya to Singapore. Until the mighty Japanese Imperial Army imposed its authority. The Australians had their testicles removed by the use of bamboo cane. Bonzai, mudda fukka.

  • @ozzyguy67 China is to turn the site of a Japanese prison camp which housed Australian prisoners during World War II into a war museum.

More than 2,000 prisoners from Australia, the United States, Britain and the Netherlands were imprisoned at the camp in Shenyang, a Manchurian city formerly known as Mukden, between 1942 and 1945.

The Xinhua news agency says more than one in 10 of them died.

  • @AlienFirefox that would be right I believe it was even worse in borneo and the thai burma railway.

  • @18tangles

  • @ozzyguy67

manchuria is in china both were battles between russia and the japanese

  • @ozzyguy67

it was ww2 though you fuckin idiot

manchuria isnt japan either you know

its like saying tobruk didnt apply because the australian fought the germans and italians and not the arabs there and since it wasnt in germany or italy its non applicable

either way its said that the japanese defeat of Khalkin Gol is probably the reason the japanese chose a weaker nation to attack which provoked pearl harbour.

  • @ozzyguy67

they didnt just fight in manchuria btw

    Battle of Khalkin Gol

largest tank battle the world had ever seen up till 1944

  • @ozzyguy67

whats with your obsession with halo are you retarded?

i dont particularly like russians so why the fuck would i make shit up

you just have to be fair

    noone won ww2

but if any particular country did it was definitely russia

  • It can never be said that Australia was a bit player in WW2. Australia by percentage of population had more people in the forces than any other Country and that is fact. not forgetting that they were all Volunteers.

  • Gentlemen lets stop this arguing, Australia and USA are brothers in arms earnt in blood, thankyou for coming to fight with us and lets hope what our grandparents did will help to solidify an alliance to last eternity cheers to the yanks :D

  • the cake is good, the cake is righteous!

  • @ozzyguy67

the americans withdraw to australia twice tying to take the philipines

  • Blah blah blah, America this and America that, World War 2 was a free for all, so everyone won and lost. The reason why the Allies claimed victory, the once powerful factories of America supplied the Allies, without the supplies from America the Allies would had lost. Any soldier shitting in the jungle fighting the Japs, had it far worst than any soldier in Europe, a part from the eastren front.

  • @ozzyguy67 where are you getting the statistic america has retreated over 600 times?

  • @judopilotmathew

    they did mate

they lost the first 2 battles in trying to take the philipines and were forced to withdraw to australia

  • @AlienFirefox trying to hold you mean not take in 1944 we ruted the japanese

  • @judopilotmathew is that rooted or routed?

  • @ozzyguy67 americans held the phillipines for a long time in the face of impossible odds and where are u getting 600 are u going back into the 1800's?

  • @judopilotmathew

    LMAO

the americans fell back to australia twice trying to take the philipines

if it wasnt for australia america would never have gotten the philipines or have been able to take any other countries around japan.

and in the philipines the americans outnumbered the japanese by far and considering they had the philipinos helping them they outnumbered the japs considerably

  • America played a vital part in world war 1 and 2 and by no means had a lack of "involvment" . But I salute the anzac soldiers and all they did in the pacific theatre but remember my australian friends the battle of the coral sea, okinawa the phillipines, iwo jima, and so many others where america was key.

  • @judopilotmathew

america did nothing in ww1 mate

yas joined when the war was almost over and in ww2 yas only joined to get revenge on japan

if that hadn't happened yas woulda let all ya allies die

  • Man for man tank for tank aircraft for aircraft America would have been utterly crushed American soldiers were not "supermen" the German war machine was more well trained more experineced more well equiped and more determined than anything the Americans could throw at them. They only won though sheer force.

  • @Danzul23 sorry by the time of D day, Germany lost many of their experence troops on the Eastren front, their factories couldn't keep up with replacing their losses, like the Japs by 1944 they'd lost the cream of their pliots, Allies had the time to train their pliots, Axis did not, all the Allies had to do was create a beach head, once that happened Germany had lost the war.

  • @2Roo7ted you think I dont know this? I am simply saying that American weapons and technology was inferior to the Germans STG44 Panzer V ring any bells? had it been an equal playing field with Germanys might from 1941 vs. Allied might from 1944 they would of been steam rolled. But history took another path and the Axis forces were crushed from the overwhelming numbers of the Allied war machine.

  • @Danzul23

the russians won mate not the americans

fuckin 2 million russians died and took out 80% of germany and were the first to berlin.

  • @AlienFirefox first to berlin because of a political decision b eisenhower and they lost 20,000,000 people and everyone helped it's not just a numbers game.

  • @judopilotmathew

i know that but the yanks try to claim they won

  • @AlienFirefox who claims we won in 1942? we think of it as an alamo if thats what you mean

  • @judopilotmathew

the yanks claim they won ww2

if any single country won ww2 it was the russians

  • @AlienFirefox america came out pretty ahead man and it won the pacific war pretty single handidly with some help but not much. Hate to say it but australia was a but player in ww2 same as most of the commonwealth countries

  • @judopilotmathew

russia took out 20% of the japanese military

and without a solid base in australia america would have lost in the pacific its been proven that without the abse in australia america would have had nowhere to fallback too and would have been blown out of the ocean

    philipines

    tarawa

    solomon islands

    iwo jima

all won because of the base in australia

  • @AlienFirefox they took out a two bit conscript army in manchuria, big deal, who sunk the japanese fleet and rolled back its empire? russia got a lick in when it was over already and congrats australia was a land mass thanks for letting us park there

  • @judopilotmathew

the russians did quite a lot more then that

so did the dutch british and australians

i have quite a lot of respect for russians

they took a hell of a load off the brits and americans in europe

and they helped us in the pacific

they even raided a japanese prison camp and freed australian and american prisoners

    and sent us home

  • @AlienFirefox they were in the pacific for a week and most of japans good troops were in japan preparing for an invasion not in manchuria

  • @judopilotmathew

    they wernt just there mate

and the australians took on the imperial guard

    japans best troops

  • @judopilotmathe When I stop at the Adelaide River War Cemetary tommorrow on the way to Darwin I'll pass on your sentiments to those who lay there.

    Wanker.

  • @judopilotmathew

australians wernt a player in ww2 really in ww1 they were

in ww2 we were attacked by the japanese bombing of darwin worse then your pearl harbor

and we were under threat of a direct invasion

  • One of the key points that people forget is that yes America did come to our aid and probably did save us, however America's involvement in the pacific was increased due a deal made with the allies that made the Australian army stay in Africa (the Africa corps kinda speak for themselves) in exchange for American soldiers aiding us. And just to prove the point look at how well the soldiers that returned from Africa to fight in kokoda did.

  • @daringalin

the americans never gave a shit about australia mate

they only joined to get revenge on japan for pearl harbour

the yanks needed a solid base near japan where they couuld resupply and fall back too if they where getting beaten like they had to twice in the philipines

so if it wasnt the base they had in australia they americans would have been obliverated.

  • This shits still going on???!! Serioulsy Easy company airborne shut the fuck up and fuck off. Really if you think that australians did shit all and that America is all high and mighty do it on a vid about americans and stop disrespecting the soldiers who fought and died to defend our nation and actually stopped the Japanese advance long before anyone else

  • @ozzyguy67 I have never seen any Australian saying anything good about the Japanese people, only bad things. I have never heard of Americans surrendering. It is not in the military code. US Marines fight and win. There is only one option - VICTORY!

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne 1942 PNG-" General Kenney recalls, that General MacArthur "began to be worried about the caliber of his infantry." Stories that American troops were fighting badly and that some had even thrown away their guns and fled in panic from the enemy were reaching headquarters, as were observers' reports which were distinctly unfavorable in tone. "

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne General Blamey to General MacArthur 1942 PNG--

"It is a very sorry story. It has revealed the fact that the American troops cannot be classified as attack troops. They are definitely not equal to the Australian MILITIA and from the moment they met opposition they sat down and have hardly gone forward a yard."

  • @ssaltmer This is banter between two great generals trying to get the Americans to perform even better. Blamey was a superb general, the only good one the British had. I admire him. He knew what cowards were - the ones that ran like rabbits. He knew the American GI was the best, and wanted them to do even better. I admire him. He knew psychology.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne This is not congenial ribbing between generals but a blunt assessment on the fighting qualities of the US Army at that time and place.

  • @ssaltmer Whatever you think. General Blamey issued a policy directive 'informing them that the operational role of the Australian Military Forces in New Guinea was to be gradually taken over by American forces'. This was due to the high opinion Blamey had of American troops as opposed to the poor quality Australians.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne A quote from General Blamey "...they (the Australians) proved their superiority - and that of the white races - over the beast from the Western Pacific, and they will go on proving it until victory brings peace again to the world". Sounds pretty content with his troops' qualities.

  • @ssaltmer Yes. That sums up the racist Australian policy against the Japanese. General Blamey was a great man, but had to go along with the racist views of his countrymen. I personally don't agree that the Australians were superior. They had more money, but the courage of the Japanese was greater than Australians. The Japanese didn't "run like rabbits".

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne Dugout Doug and his acolytes were media control freaks, as even their fighting generals knew.Self publicized megalomaniac. Let us recall that it was MacArthur who sent a message saying that not enough Australian troops were being killed, and so they were not fighting hard enough. That was the measure of the man.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne An Australian journalist writes about MacArthurs media self aggrandoisement PNG 1942:"Up here everybody is incensed at new censorship bans including MacArthur's personal censorship of Stone's [articles] on his visit here which have been slashed to ribbons to convey the impression (a) that he went right up to the front line (which he certainly did NOT), and (b)

that this was NOT his first visit to New Guinea . . . Censorship now is

    just plain Gestapo stuff."

  • @ssaltmer

yer the yanks cowered in buna they hid in the grass and the japs were waiting for the yanks to come out and fight but they wouldnt so the japs just fired into the grass and slaughtered then and blamey said the macarthur that he'd prefer to send a hundred tired aussie soldiers then send 1000 fresh yank soldiers cause he knows the aussies will fight. macarthur had the ordasity to call the aussies cowards and so the aussies charged the japs and showed more ferociousness then the japs

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne Not surprisingly, MacArthur suggested building a paved road over the roller-coaster layout that was the Kokoda Track! Only a total ignoramus or a complete muppet would offer that as an original idea!

  • @ssaltmer

not to mention calling the aussies cowards so they got pissed off and charged the japanese and showed more aggression and ferociousness then the japs.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne Whatever you reckon, Easy, because you only know what your mate MacArthur would have the world believe at the time.He did his best to control the media at the time to ensure that only what he endorsed was released to the public, principly sole American victories without the help of anybody else.Something a lap dog like you only so easily swallows.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

they why do they always flee

    they did in buna

  • can someone explain to me briefly about ANZAC day...i am a new migrant and dont know thorouhgly about the history....

  • @pariszingca1

ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. In 1915 on April 25 they went into battle in the seaborne invasion of Turkey at Gallipoli. Britain, and France also took part. The invasion was a failure. These troops then went to France and fought on the western front. The Australians out performed most of the other allied troops and and they cracked the Germans Hindenberg Line.

  • god bless and thankyou to all the men that were on the kokada track

  • Easy Company...you should read a few of the books that explain the situation of the NG campaign and the desperate actions of ill trained soldiers before commenting. Two of my great Uncles were in the 39th Battalion at NG against the Japanese and I have a good understanding of what they went through. I am willing to give you the names of the books if you desire.

  • I have been watching this series. These Australian guys should be ashamed. They "ran like rabbits" said the great General MacArthur. Australian five star Blamey was the only brave Australian. He won the British DSO for bravery. Blamey and MacArthur were disgusted that Australians could not withstand the poorly trained and old fashioned soldiers of Japan. The USMC had to come in.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

Once again you are wrong. MacArthur did not say that, it was Blamey.

The great MacArthur did say to to Eichelberger to replace the US soldiers that refuse to fight. Replace lieuts. with sergents, sergents with corporals etc.

USMC did not take part at Buna. The Aussies after defeating the japs on the Kokoda track and then taking their objective Gona, were brought to to "help" out the Yanks at Buna. Buna was then taken.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

Blamey had a good WW1 record and did a good job in the mid east in WW2. However he lost the plot in NG. He was pressured by the publicity seeking MacArthur to obtain a victory at any cost because MacArthur was scared of being replaced . These two fools had no idea of the conditions the men were fighting under. Out numbered, out gunned, no regular supplies, lack of food ,ammo, basic equip. etc etc. Blamey then called them rabbits for a fighting withdrawal to Imita Ridge.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

Supply problems were compounded because the US officer in charge at Morseby airfield did not obey a a command to disperse the DC3's. They were lined up like sititng ducks and all but 2 were destroyed in an air raid. This meant that most of the supplies to the front line troops then had to manhandled over the track which took 6-8 days to reach the troops, instead of 20 mins. by air.

  • @blueycarlton Yes. That sounds typical. A friend of mine was in Borneo, and the English Colonel told them to paint all the buildings gleaming white. They did so, and the Japanese came in the next day, bombed them, and dropped a message congratulating the boys for making their job easy. It does interest me that the Australians always seemed to rely on the US for supplies. Sure there were RAAF planes available.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne No unfortunately most of our air force were in Europe since 1940. We had virtually no airforce or professional army in Aust in Dec 1941. We even designed and built our own fighter the Boomerang, from planning to flying in 3 months., cause we couldn't get the planes. Roosevelt and Churchill did not want the Aust. Forces sent home to protect their own people. Can you believe that?

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne Many of the dakotas were taken from the civil airlines and flown by civilians. They had the US star painted on them so the US airforce and gunners wouldn't shoot them down. Remember, Aust. pop was 8 million in a country the size of the US, in 1941 we didn't have the manufacturing base to produce large quanitities. By 1945 we were making Beauforts, Beaufighters, Mosquitos, Boomerangs, Mustangs, naval ships, landing vessels, artillery, the Owen Gun, munitions etc.

  • @Tyrantbad and EasyCompanyAirBorne

What ive been told, Hitler didnt like the Brits and wanted europe, so he killed the jews because they were the most wealthiest after World war 1

  • actually Hitler didn't have anything against Britain, he saw them as true and fellow Aryans. the rest is true. And if weren't for the racism, expansionism and genocide, Hitler would have been the greatest leader Germany ever had

  • a common thing i see on You Tube is Americans going on other countrys tributes and discrediting other countrys and promoteing many Americans own idea of history .

over stateing their importance in world history and not seeing what other countrys have done or achieved especially in WW1 AND WW2 its almost like many Americans over state their importance to make up 4 their lack of involvement in both world wars ,yes the U.S was a great help WW2, but by no means any American can say they won.

  • if i am correct the japs thought in the first battle of kokoda

they just defeated 1,200 Australian troops thinking they are so good........but then the sad truth for them there was only around 77 aussies defending the place

at least the japs admit we r good fighters

  • minablock. This makes me laugh. You Australians said it yourselves. "The Japanese are "a curious race - a cross between the human being and the ape". I find it incredible that any enemy could praise Australian soldiers. Australian never praised anyone, except the English, who they always sucked up to. The Japanese were probably being diplomatic and polite as they always are. They are certainly not the subhumans that Australians say they are. Australians disgust me sometimes. Racists!

  • The Path Of Infinite Sorrow.

THE JAPANESE ON THE KOKODA TRACK, By

    Hajime Marutani and Craig Collie

its the Japanese 144 th div point of view of the fighting on the KOKODA TRACK

they fought in China,in Guam against the U.S and PNG against AUSTRALIA .

All the Jap troops agree Australians r excellant marksman and THE MOST STUBBORN ENEMYS THEY FACED

    AND minablock is right.

the Japs thought they were facing many more troops then just over a 100.

its a new book so please read it .

  • the americans and Brits also dehumanised the Japanese as the Japanese dehumanished us.

    it was WAR dont forget

we can just as easily say all yanks r Racists over what you guys did 2 black Americans over your history but we wont cause it seems we have a better understanding of history then yourself.

i dont understand y u dislike us Aussies so much .

all your comments have no bases 2 say anything negative about us .

and u really need 2 stop being so narrow minded.

  • tyrant. Where do I say that I dislike Australians? It is simply not true. I am trying to counter yours and others arguments on this topic.

You say the Japanese dehumanized Australians, and yet you then say they thought of Australians as some sort of supermen, like expert marksmen and 77 men fighting like 1200. By the way, war has nothing to do with perceptions. Many Australians still hate the Japanese. I have seen this on TV. You are right on one point. It is the English who promote this.

  • Easy. 1. All your comments and distorted facts made it plain on how you feel towards Aussies and Australia.

2.most countrys during war time used propaganda to dehumanised their enemys ,but very often its the ppl in the frontline that thought different.

i do hope you read more on WW1 ,WW2 and KOKODA .

there alot of great books out there and its the only way 2 understand some of the great times in history.

u have been proved wrong so many times.

  • tyrant. I like Australian people and Australia. I am just disagreeing with the summing of of Australia's war effort, which was not impressive. In other regards such as sport, Australia is impressive. It is pathetic when someone tries to analyze what actually happened, instead of the fairy tale propaganda, it is seen as attacking a country.

As far as Japan is concerned, I have never heard of anything but hatred of the Japanese people from Australians on the frontline.

  • EasyCompany airborne> America always rocks up late, does whatever the hell it wants and is compeletly hypocrytical in their actions. AMERICA LOST ALOT OF BATTLES IN WW2, so did we, but at least we actually did something when the whole thing started and we have been credited by many other countries as being some of the best of the worlds militarys. In WW1 the only ppl the germans feared were the Scots And the ANZACS. SO SHUT THE FUCK AND GO GLOAT ON AMERICAN TRIBUTES YOUR COMPLETE PRICK!!

  • racists? how can our ww2 soldiers forgive them for what they done in the prison camps?

i bet if a vountry tried to invade urs you would say racist crap

i am not to reply to the next thing you say so don't bother bye bye

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

australians never looked up to the english

aussies despised english for what they did to us in fromelles in ww1

the aussies did praise the japanese

the mini suicide subs that got into sydney harbour the japs in them were taken out cremated and sent back to japan with honours

we did praise them and we never praised the english EVER

  • Everybody here are the facts. Australia has suffered hundreds of thousands of casualties due to all wars to gain our independency. The campaigns we were sent into were almost suacide. For example at Gallipoli the entire 10th light horse regiment was wiped out in one attack due to some fucked up english general who did not give a flying fuck about aussie diggers. Yet according to FIELD MARSHALL Lord Kitchener we were the toughest soldiers he had EVER seen. RIP heroes of the light horse

  • @SouthernCrossSon1

    go look up fromelles

  • Easy i ve said this before. Your fanatical belief in America is bordering on mental illness. None of your comments are backed by historical fact. Not sure how many bunkers McArthur led the grenade charge on or how many enemy he bayonetted, pretty sure its none. I ve been to war, this level of command do not close with the enemy. In fact he spent most of the time on main land Aus! I take nothing away from the Americans i ve served with them in Iraq but your rantings are strange to say the least!

  • crowder. McArthur was given the Medal of Honor for having come under "heavy bombardment". No Australian in Iraq would know what this is like. Only the Iraqs would. They came under heavy bombardment, which makes them very brave men. Unfortunately they all died for their country. In today's war, there is no quarter given. The English in Iraq bulldozed Iraqi prisoners into the sand. There were no survivors. As the English say "live bastards, dead soldiers".

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

australians were bombarded by american artillery not long ago in iraq

ofcourse the aussies know what its like

and in vietnam yas set mines in the wrong area and got 50 aussies killed

i spose you didnt know that though did you

  • ozzy. The 39th was a Division but did little fighting. They returned to the US after a brief engagement in France maintaining the depot. In 1918 they were disbanded.

The best division of WW2 is a hard one. Many US divisions qualify, indluing the 1st Infantry Division, the "Big Red One" and of course the 101st, the Screaming Eagles with Easy Company in the vanguard.

I have heard of Australian troops, but unfortunately they were mostly either defeated or surrendered. Not very good.

  • America also suffered many defeats when they first started fighting in WW2 and surrendered on mass in the Philippines.

and more Americans surrendered in the Philippines then Australians in the whole war .

so read some history and get your facts right before you talk crap about other countrys.

  • canada did very lttle S.A troops lost tobruk only after AUST was pooled out 2 fight the JAPS,in WW2 U.S.A ,U.S.S.R were considered poor troops in both world wars and after many defeats won some battles only by mass fire power and huge numbers of troops.

my grand father and dad are English and always held Aussies in high regard.

your comments are not backed by historical facts which make everything your saying are lies.

try giving some examples or facts ,quotes to back the crap your saying.

  • the us did not save us in kokoda. we only had our selves but there was a tiny bit of u.s involvement i think.

look it up the japs thought they where fighting over 1,000 aussies when in fact it was less than 100 in that one battle (first battle of kokoda)

  • @minablock

    the yanks where in buna

but they didnt fight they cowered in the grass and the japs came out and waited for them the yanks wouldnt come out so the japs just fired into the grass and slaughtered them

they wernt were we needed them they coulda helped in kokoda but were to focused on the philipines to give a shit

  • ozzy. The Americans came in and saved Australia. Australia tried to fight the Japanese, but when they came, the Australians surrendered. Americans are not like that. Americans are resolute and brave. The American fighting soldier is worth 100 of the enemy. MacArthur said that he only trusted American GIs. He was the greatest and bravest soldier of WW2, being the most decorated with a Five Star rating.

  • u really dont know enough about history and your extremely bias

ANZAC TROOPS played major roles in early British victorys

    Tobruk,Benghazi,Derna,Bardia,Fort Capuzzo, El ALAMEIN

it was AUSTRALIA THAT FIRST DEFEATED GERMANY IN NORTH AFRICA.

and AUSTRALIA WAS THE FIRST ONES TO DEFEAT JAPAN ON LAND IN THE PACIFIC so deal with it.

its easy 4 Americans 2 make fun of other countrys in both World Wars about their defeats cause the U.S turned up late after most of the heavy fighting was already done

  • macarthur though had little of U.S troops after their poor performance in the battles of BUNA and GUADALCANAL ,replaceing senion American officers and later used Australian troops in Buna 2 help brake the dead lock

also MacAuthur retracted all hes earlier warped comments about the heroes of Kokoda by saying QUOTE

: The Australians are Magnificent Troops ,Unsurpassed IN THE WORLD.

    as stated in the book

KOKODA TO THE SEA by Frank Sublet.

by a man who fought in PNG.

  • I'd just like to say Easycomayairborne, your a douche that knows jack shit about any other country in the world, let alone your own. Go to a library and read some books, go to a musuem or something that might just make you see how much other countrys fought so well against their enemies with the odds against. STFU and Piss off from any other video about Australia

  • I just read about the Kokoda track. MacArthur ordered the Australians to go into New Guinea. They were soon beaten back by the Japanese. The Americans finally landed at Buna and forced the Japanese off the island. MacArthur became known as the conqueror of New Guinea. MacArthur was a brilliant general who led inexperienced Australian troops into action and with the backbone of the splendid US GIs claimed victory over the huge Japanese force there.

  • bullshit

Aussie were in PNG b4 MacAurthar got out of the Phillipines, we lead our own men and the only reason we fell back was due to being outumbered.

At Isurava, the Japanese were forced back. And The Australians won that battle

  • Jai. I just watched a documentary on MacArthur. He went to Australia to continue the fight, unlike others who quickly surrendered against the Japanese. When he got there, he expected a lot of troops ready to follow him into battle, and was disappointed at the low numbers available. He had been given the Medal of Honor due to his determined stance against the Japanese. MacArthur was a remarkable man. His great presence put a little spine into the Australian backbone. The Yanks saved Australia.

  • the yanks never saved australia ya dopey prick we shared the same enemy and the same allies thats all. the 39th were send up track and fort a delaying tactic til the A.I.F returned from the middle east, in which odds were 600 australians vs approx 8000 japs, simple maths would say that you can't win but the delayed the japs long enough to allow the 2/14 to join the fight. the real heros who saved australia was the 39th, there our heros

  • u do have a very one sided view on history,

Australia had 230,000 troops in southeast Asia. WHICH WAS MORE THEN THE U.S and BRITAIN had in 1942.

and more troops coming back from north Africa.

American GIs were crap ,all they did was fill up body bags, they were poorly train and low in numbers in 1941 to 1943.

the U.S DID very little in New Guinea.

    Australian killed and wounded 56,000

    compared to U.S 12,000

Australia was the main land force in SE Asia in 1941 to late 1943.

  • I cant believe this Easy companyairborne dude Macarther was an egomaniac not a soldier he built himself up through his clever manipulation of the media machine man you are as dumb as all the other us citizens who believe in their politicians seek the truth and free your people dude

  • david. MacArthur was a General of the Army of the United States. You only get to that level if you are a true hero. Also, he won the prestigious Medal of Honor of the United States, the world's highest decoration "for valor".

  • u r on almost every aussie ww2 video

dun you have something better to do?

you arrogant piece of crap you never think about the times when America lost a battle

we are allies america and australia...now piss off there is no point fighting about this

  • ? the yanks where only there for like 3 days

  • and i do respect the Americans we all do....we only swear and say stupid yanks because u kno when u get the dick heads who run their mouth for nothing

  • min. Good. Everyone respects Americans. Whenever I travel, people always gravitate towards Americans for leadership and guidance. Australians and Americans work well together, as Australians are obedient and Americans are innovative.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

    BAHAHAHAHA

i'd never listen to a yank mate

    americans listen to us actually

thats why your soldiers come to australia to train with us because we are the best

  • @minablock

    i dont i despise them

there aggressors no better then nazis

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne u idiot ,i gave u a long list of Aussie victorys and we won alot more then we lost.

the U.S never saved anyone in WW1 or WW2

the battles that saved Australia was the battles Australia played MAJOR ROLES IN

NewGuinea and the battles of the Coral Sea IT WAS AUSSIE SHIPS that blocked Japs transports 4 landing at port morsby

AUST had 220,000 troops in SE Asia more then the U.S and U.K COMBINED .

IN 1941,42 THE U.S was a junior Allie

and AUST fought most of the land batt

  • @tyrantbad

australia is the only country in the world thats never lost a battle under its own command

  • @AlienFirefox O yeh. What about the Battle of Vevi. Commanded by Major General MacKay who headed up the Australians and other allies. It was an Australian run show and a mess.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne

battle of vevi was a fuck up due to the weather not australian command

however vietnam war was lost due to americans inferiority

some super power cant even beat a bunch of villagers with ak-47's

wrote the so called book and yet americas best soldiers are based on my countries soldiers

that clearly says mine are better

    cheers

  • @AlienFirefox Yes Russia was superior in numbers but had it not been for a few vital decisions A) The decision to push on with the bombing of RAF airfields instead of putting vital luftwaffe resources into the blitz, this would of taken Britain out quite early on if their navy had no air cover it was fucked. B.) The invasion of Russia if this occured later when Hitler had taken out Britain as a millitary power then he would of had a shit load more millitary resources at his disposal.

  • @Danzul23

its because hitler was to content on the africa campaign

after the aussies and brits kicked the germans arses out of north africa he didnt really have any way of attacking britain head on and his only way to do so was to go through france which if i recall was already under german control and the battle of britain started

  • @AlienFirefox You have your timeline all wrong, battle of britain began in 1940 following the defeat of france it is quite interesting to note that Goering had promised Hitler that not a single bomb would fall on a German city. When an accident occured in a bombing raid and some Luftwaffe bombs landed on London docks not their RAF targets the public outrage was momentus. As a result Churchill ordered a raid on Munich (or Berlin) it was very costly and did not achieve much on the face of it but

  • @Danzul23

north africa started in 1940 mate

  • @AlienFirefox I did say 1940 though, lol yeah Australian troops just had something different didnt they, lest we forget

  • @Danzul23

i know you did but i didnt get my times wrong

  • @AlienFirefox the result was an absoulutley furious Hitler who was promised as I mentioned earlier that not a single bomb would land on a German city so he ordered massive nightly raids on London that drew Luftwaffe resources away from their original targets allowing the RAF to regroup and ultimatley end the battle of Britain. At the rate of fighters going down while the RAF was destroying 2 Luftwaffe planes for every RAF plane downed it was not enough they would of only lasted a few months

  • @AlienFirefox and on in North Africa at this point in time 1940 that is the Australians New Zeland and British forces were fighting a raging battle against Italain formations (who the majority of which did not want to fight) causeing massive casualties and advancing quite swiftley although when Rommel arrived with his panzer divisons this was radically turned on its head and im sure you know the rest :P

  • @Danzul23

    @Danzul23

    ofcourse

theres not much that can stop the aussies were a pretty tough bunch far tougher then the dumb fuck yanks for sure

  • @AlienFirefox sorry "mate" we're based on a british model and we never lost in vietnam we left in 1973 with a peace treaty same as korea n.vietnam violated it in 1975 and we didn't enforce it

  • @judopilotmathew

no shit wheres this coming from i already know and never stated otherwise

    the yanks lost in vietnam

  • @AlienFirefox i already explained vietnam and australia lost their to if thats your logic

  • @judopilotmathew

no as you said australia pulled out

it was after that the war was lost

  • @judopilotmathew

the australian military is its own btw

the only part of the australian military based on britain is the sasr and even the sasr uses its own tactics aswell we use z special unit tactics in the sasr.

the tactical assault group and the 1st and 2nd commando regiment are ours.

if you were talking about the sasr alone then yes your right

    just making sure

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne Whats your favourite kind of cake Easy?

  • @Danzul23 I know what pastry dish Easy doesn't like, and that's humble pie.

  • @ssaltmer Yeah I was seeing if he was a human because I hear that demons dislike cake :(

  • @Danzul23 Hey I figured out his Easy's favourite cake.: FRUIT CAKE! lol

  • @ssaltmer I like Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. You won't have that in England.

  • @EasyCompanyAirborne They have it in the Barossa Valley here in Australia.Hope you choke on a big slice of your own one day, you cake eating fascist.
