He fought to free Mewar from Moghul dominance. He fought his entire life to free Chittor from the clutches of the Moghuls. That makes him a freedom fighter.
YOU cant call him a freedom fighter..because he was not fighting for the whole of India...But yes...he fought with enemorous force against the mogal invaders right to the end....even though vastly outnumbered.....never selling himself to the invaders ..like most other Rajputs...
cant really say freedom fighter. religion back then was not the issue. akbar was the first indian born mughal to accept the nation from delhi..it was the indian ppl who maintained the mughal empire whether hindu or muslim. akbar allied with amber and other rajputs each mutual helping one another and allowing autonomy. akbar did not base with warfare based on religion.

Chaen Singh Parmar was one of the very first indian freedom fighters (1824) - he fought against the British Raj at Sehore near Bhopal.
