@mojoefly hi, what I mean the amp distorts to give a rhythm crunch tone quicker, because the pickups are higher output. It's that sort of blues overdrive sound you hear.
I have the 50th anniversary deluxe strat, non - masterbuilt; it's got great build quality and ingot it second hand for £900. I swapped the pickups out for bare knuckle slowhands and it has the most beautiful sound I've ever heard from a strat, slightly darker and breaks up just a little quicker. The only problem is the sustain is terrible without it being hard tailed.
I would sell one of my nuts for this guitar. IMO the best ever made. I wonder if the non-masterbuilt versions are as good (the ones with the 'xxxx of 1954' on the back of the headstock)?
daamn.. best guitar playin on youtube ive seen.. you got the sounds rite and everything as it should be.. except that your not on the stage rockin out to tons of people!
most lower end strats like mexican and american standards go outta tune when u whammy....is the masterbuilt diff and stay in tune? or is a floyd rose still the only guaranteed method to stay in tune (excluding PRS)
@clondan1 even a squier doesn't go out of tune, if you know how to set it up properly.....even if you have cheap nut, and tuners, it could stay in tune for a long time....there are some great vids on youtube about how to set up a strat, so that it doesnt go out of tune
Great playing and tone! I'd like to have your opinion about JTM45 head and 1960AHW vs Bluesbreaker combo. Can I achieve similar tones with Bluesbreaker? Thanks!
Great playing and tone! Can you tell us more about the guitar, pickups in it and any comparisons to other strat or strat copies? I'm looking at one of the Custom Shop strats but threw around the idea of getting a G&L Legacy? This guitar sounds very versatile, glassy in a good way. I even considered a Gilmour Strat but I hate being a poser, even though I love the look of that strat!
You're my kind of guitar player ! Your Fender Stratocaster sound very good with the Marshall amp. If I'm not wrong ??? I think it was the kind of amp that Jimmi Hendrix was using, a Super 100JH.
Let the good music comes and I will be there to listen to you. I subscribe to your channel my friend. Oh by the way I gave you your 93th 5 stars on this vid. And I'm going to look at the other one on your channel for sure.
Awsome video. I am curious why you switched from Orange to Marshall RI amps? The Orange amps also sounded great. I assume you are playing the Marshall clean with dirt added from the pedals. Anyway, it sounds fantastic.
I have considered a Dr. Z route 66, which is their verson of the the JTM 45. I think a used JTM45 RI can be purchased cheaper than a Dr. Z however.
Thanks, and keep adding additional youtube videos. Your tone is best!!!!
i believe you when you say it's the best strat you tried.cause in every one of these masterpiece guitar their a soul and it's one of the rare guitar that inspire you that much when you play on it,feel so good
Absolutely breathtaking tone!!!!!!!! A timely reminder of what a Stratocaster should sound like. Fantastic playing as well!! NAILED THE BECK TONE!!!!! AMAZING!!!! Nice to see a player who truly deserves that caliper of instrument.
@katarzis27 thats right only burst on these. I just bought the 50th american series version to got with my 50th deluxe. Would love to own a custom shop like yours but way to expensive. Glad fender used same pickups in both though :)
Also from 4.28 what song you playing , i know it just cant think?? sounds amazing!!
Great playing with that clean sound... good guitars have to be well played. I see a lot of videos from people who spend money on guitars they cant master. but you definatly dont fit in that category.
if you like the OD9's crunch you should try damage control's womanizer. Gives a better range of tones, looks like shit though.
Cool. I have a Todd Krause MB 54, great guitars aren't they ? It sounds like you're getting some out of phase tones. Did you wire up the 5 way or are you balancing the switch ? Cheers.

Fantastic demo of a fantastic amp! I have bought mine 4 weeks ago and the sound is awesome. Couple it with a Fulltone OCD and you reach tone heaven. Thanks for the inspiration. Gonna put up a vid of my Marshall JTM45, too within the next days.

A question for you, I´m thinking on buying a Malsteen Strat with Rosewood fretboard and I saw you have one, can you give me your opinion in terms of playability (especially the neck feel, I have small hands, I bought a Eric Johnson and sell it because the neck was very fat for my hands), sound (vibration, tone and pickups) and craftsmanship?
