  • Thanks

  • Hes huge , how long is he?

  • Great video :)

  • excellent video, beautiful monitor, and outstanding enclosure. A+

  • wow love your out door area for your Monitor.. don't see alot of people who would give up so much space for a pet "lizard" lol 5 stars!

  • Yeah it's too bad. They really need this kind of room. Actually more. Thanks

  • hey what kind of fish is that? thanks

  • It's a Mackerel

  • where do you live and what breeder did you get him from

  • San Diego. I got him from a breeder in LA. At only 2.5 years old, this male is already the father of many babies, with many more on the way.

  • I LOVE this video:)Very, nice and well put together. Is he nice or pretty aggressive?

  • Thanks. This Argus is very food aggressive, but otherwise he's very tolerant of my presence.

  • how do you keep him from digging out

  • There's steel mesh on all sides, even under all the dirt.

  • would he need heating for at night or in the winter

  • This is only a summer cage. I don't provide any artificial heat. I have an indoor cage for the cooler months

  • thats cool, i have a baby savannah, now i want one of these

maybe ile wait until i'm a little more experienced, this is my first monitor.

  • lmao, thats so koolxDD

  • awsome vid!! i love to see happy healthy lizards!! Awsome outside enclosure as well!!!!

  • Beautiful lizard, great enclosure

  • Nice lizard!

  • funny when he chases the smaller lizard

  • Very nice...Have you noticed the temperment issue with housing outside?

  • Not sure I follow.

His temperament is the same outside as it is inside.

  • Oh...Cool. I've heard that monitors exposed to natural sunlight can become quite Evil!

    I enjoy your videos.

  • Awesome video Shay!!! Great representation of the cool behaviors argus display each day! I have to disagree with the 'poorly directed, filmed, and edited' comment....you did a great job! -Lance

  • That a real beauty you got! always funny to se your vids!

A question: What is the humidity there you live? How high sould it be for horni?

    Regards/Tomas

  • Excellent video, shay! Great editing, very professionally done with the multiple angles of each scene.

Damn you, though - the camera angles for the tree climbing and rushing at the camera for food (even the crash into the camera at the end) are coincidentally so similar to what I've been filming the past couple of weeks that my next video will look like a cheap imitation :(

  • Thanks a lot Dave

haha, you just might want to wait a few days for this video to get old and forgotten. By then a fresh lacie video will be new and exciting.

  • Wow! That enclosure has to be as close to heaven a captive monitor can be. So great to see him running and acting as if in the wild.

(well, except for the backflip at the end:) Awesome vid.

  • The last 30 seconds are awesome!:)Thanks for sharing mate..

  • Really good looking Argus man, love that huge enclosure too. How many cameras you have in it? You made a great video, the end was pretty funny! =D

  • Thanks. I only used one camera. I had to video certain scenes a few times from different angles, and edit them together. Good thing his movements around the cage are similar.

  • Then you did an awesome job fixing all together, I thought you had many around and the tripod one completed with the moves. Nicely done! ;)
