What you need to do with this prototype is to get it placed in the car at production stage included with spare tyre etc you would sell millions of units this way or sell the patents to them. I would imagine more up market mass production car companies would be interested e.g bmw, mercedes
It is a very unique concept indeed. I just don't see it being practical in this day and age. It is far to large and bulky to be used on much more that what you show here. And if you get a flat, your car should have everything needed to get it off. and if it doesn't, you just call someone. really good idea though and i support you 100% Just need to scale it down, like way down. Make it smaller with stronger springs so it still has that WHAM behind it and sell it as an attachment.
@lazyinaz91 Thant the everyday non mechanically inclined man can use. You know the type, the guy who got his drill from his wife as a stocking stuffer one xmas. That is the guy who will use this. the one that walks into home depot and sees a regular impact for 100 plus dollars and he needs an air compressor, or this thing for 30 bucks and he can stick it on the end of his drill. I hope it gets up of the ground brother. let me hear back from you if you like what i said.
i think the lack of uptake is due to it being in no-man's land. You say in the other video its for the side of the road application, but those caught with a flat do not have the foresight to tool up for it - hence being caught out. That or just call roadside assist! Enthusiast market won't like it b/c a long time ago cordless batteries mean your drill battery in a $70 impact skin does the job effortlessly.
it would be good on light jobs e.g flat tyres and such but i i used one of them in the repair garage it would just break after about 50 thousand or more uses as it would be badly treated and drpooed and maybe driven over

It is only a prototype, we haven't found anyone interested in making them. We have patents on it.

Interesting thought, but cover the mechanism with a housing or some schlub will find a way to get a finger under the hammer or hair in a spring.
