The Chevy HHR beat it around the Nurburgring so did the cobalt and the focus is that a "real" enough track for you. not to mention the record for a FULL lap is held by an American car the VIPER ACR the first honda is 50+ positions later but only after several more American cars. The Viper ACR also holds the lap record at Laguna Seca.

That takes some imagination. I dont know how reliable Ferrari or Lamborghini are but ther are track weapons of mass destruction and the home of Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Gumpert, and Bugatti cant be beat when it comes to sheer performance, reliability, engineering and sophistication.
