Think all riders should take at least one of his classes because he shows you that in order to have a good horse, you have to work for it !!!!

Clinton your are amazing!!!!!!! thank you so much! i learned so much when you were at the olympic Stadium in georgia i think it was 2010... I LOVED IT! even though i was thirteen i learned enough to Tame a wild mustang and re-train a off the track Thoroughbred! of course i had videos just in case i missed something but i was able to apply it. And now i have my own bissiness training, Breaking, And re-breaking using a mix of yours, Bucks and Cox's methods. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

*ugh* Clinton would be so much better if he had more finesse. He is so much rope and stick. It should only take the lift of your pinky to ask that of your horse. I can't get passed all the stings, ropes and stick flapping, it's a real turn off.

Went to one of his clinics and let me tell you I worked my butt off. So did my horse. I have used his training ways for all my horses. From QH, Arabs, ponies, Grades, and my Draft horses. His ground work was a life saver when I got my 4 year old Clydesdale. She is the best behaved horse thanks to his way of training horses. Love him.

@shaunieM25 she had bad arthritis in her hocks and in her knees and traveling can take its toll on horse, especially horse that hasn't been doing it her whole life. I think its great that the retired her that early. There are plenty of people out there at think that just becuase horses can live to be 25, and plently dont, they should be worked until then. The fact that he took the physical and mental health of his horse over showing shows that he has his heart in the right place.

@ropefast I also liked Honza first ,through reading his book ( dancing with horses ) but then I came to the final page , and it said : if a stallion does something wrong , punch him the hardest you can , and by those words i lost all respekt and trust for him and his methods .

This was Mindy and his 'last dance'. I saw him working with Diez at his tour out in Minneapolis this weekend. But let me tell you, there isnt the same connection between him and Diez as there is between him and Mindy. Its sad to hear that Minday is retired, but he did the right thing. Traveling this much is hard on a horse. Mindy deserved a good life outside of the ring. :)

Clinton Anderson is a great trainer and shows so much love for his horses. He offers what every person wants from their horse; a relationship (thats safe). Pat and Linda parelli a good but Clinton Anderson is simply the best. Know one will ever match his training skill or love for horse training. Way to go Clinton Anderson, Diez and Mindy!

I woke up this morning, turned on the tv and Downunder horsemanship came on. I've always loved horses since I was a kid, but this man has showed me a whole new outlook to how you can give a horse purpose. I was so hyped up after his show I had to come see videos. I've never seen any horse so giddy, streamline, athletically ready to dart around with eagerness. I would take riding lessons. Those horses aren't like THESE horses! I WANT ONE LIKE THIS! I have never seen another clinican that holds a candle to Clinton!!!! From the very first time I saw him I was inspired. I have a better bond with my horses because of Clintons method. I hope to get my horses to the highest level possible. Thank you Clinton from the bottom of my heart you have showed me that with hard work and the right knowledge anything is possible, wrecks I have had over the years wrecked my confidence and I am starting to enjoy riding again and forgot how fun troting is

this is true partnership between human and horse. i don't think there is another horse and rider/clinican out there who can compare. other are good but these two have inspired me in more ways then any other "team" in the world. look at Clinton beam with pride! i'm glad she gets a well deserved retirement although i'll miss her. she's become "America's Horse." we've all fallen in love with her and feel as though she's also a part of our equine family. :-) Way To Go Guys! keep it up!!

Mindy has got to be the most athletic, sweet natured and well mannered mare I've seen!! Clinton's really been practicing some heavy duty techniques in his routine and he seems like he's enjoying the DU tours more these days. It's a wonder what a little rest and relaxation does for a person's spirit, isn't it??? How could anybody top THAT PERFORMANCE??????????

i had the absolute pleasure of seeing clinton and mindy at the equine affaire in agawam, mass three years ago. it was a wonderful demonstration. afterward, we went to the meet and greet at his booth. he took time with each and every person to say a few words. he has no 'airs' about him; he is a warm and genuine person.

Clintons methods may not be for everyone, but i gotta admit that when I have had a issue turning to his dvds for ideas have really helped me become a better horseman/woman an have helped me really work threw my problems. :)
