It was dangerous and illegal but as a kiwi I really don't think they deliberately tried to take O'Driscoll out for the tour. I was at this match and had been looking forward to the Lions coming since the 03 Australian tour, but was so disappointed with the rubbish squad that was sent out here. None of the games were close and even the Maoris won. No doubt O'Driscoll is world class but please send a competitive team next time or we may as well invite Italy over for a tour.
