I'm going to say this without having read too many comments here: there have been many cover bands that i've heard through the years, some dont do justice some sounded so close that it was creepy, Rome brings enough respect and style to maintain originality and pay homage to the legacy that is Sublime, it is quite obvious that Sublime with Bradley was a huge influence on him growin up and he is right where he should be jammin with those guys. I just wish they would have changed the name but the funny thing is that with Bud and Eric in any band people would want to hear Sublime songs so I don't blame them for wanting to keep going. In the end it's not their fault how things ended and I'm sure Brad would be happy if they are.

@gaughancj Bud and Eric made him write all the songs on his own except for 2 or 3. If you look back Brad was no Hendrix either, he was more a Producer, not saying Rome is a producer but hes got a good voice and is up for the challenge and so far doing a good job.

I didn't get into Sublime until I was 17, years after Bradley passed, I never got the chance to be a part of a Sublime era, I think they were brilliant, but I only get to watch music videos or hear songs from the past. If they were even a fraction of what they were, that could only be a positive thing, You complain about originality, but seeing as they covered a few songs during their time I think they respected music, just like Rome does. Better this than Bieber.

Bradley's gone and he's not coming back so get over it. The guys wanted to carry on the legacy that Brad had built, I find that to be very honorable. I'm sure Bradley would have wanted them too, or not, who knows. But what I do know is that Sublime with Rome is what we have now and if you don't like it then don't listen to it.

I'm going to say this without having read too many comments here: there have been many cover bands that i've heard through the years, some dont do justice some sounded so close that it was creepy, Rome brings enough respect and style to maintain originality and pay homage to the legacy that is Sublime, it is quite obvious that Sublime with Bradley was a huge influence on him growin up and he is right where he should be jammin with those guys. i find it hard to understand why on every video of rome playing, or him playing with eric and bud, has to degrade the dude. he's carrying on the greatest music there is in the world. ive never seen so many fellow brad lovers/stoners argue about something... he has unmeasurable talent and plays exactly as brad did. no he is not trying to replace him. but eric and bud wanted to keep playing in memory of brad and they found a great fit to fill in to sing and rip guitar.
