My brazilian friend, an inventor has the right to be his own terminologist/lexicographer. That means an inventor can call your little lamp there a "smurf fire" and as long as it discloses some new concept it will be granted a patent.
Also, if 94000 people calls it a Wick.. doesnt that tell you that it may be common to call it that?
