I hypothesize the disappearance in the diagnoses of Dissociative Disorders in the near future considering they're all "social constructs" and iatrogenic disorders.
About 3 or 4 months ago I went to see a psychiatrist within my new provider network; it was just a cursory meeting to review my past history and set up a file. (For the record, I had a bizarre and abusive childhood and having suffered from depression, anxiety, full-blown panic attacks and eating disorders.)
Unlike every other visit I've had with mental health professionals, this time I...
@cabadura1000 ...told the psychiatrist how my extremely powerful imagination/inner world had always had elements and 1 particular character I could not control. I told him the story of the day I was first 'taken away' (mentally), where I went, who this constant companion of mine is and how much time I cannot remember.
I figured my dr. would either let my story pass without incident or ask if I heard voices telling me to do things. I didn't know why I'd even told him...
...and I was embarrassed by my admission of 'imaginary friends' at my age. I go through my life sunk back about 2 inches behind my eyes, daydreaming over 96% of my day. I don't know any other way to live...just figured I was a little too creative for my own good.
His response was "This sounds like a dissociative disorder."
This video is a school project show casing examples of DID..in other terms mULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISODER...i was diagnosed with it 3yrs ago..here is a list of things i go threw
1. Forgetful..when reading a book..simple words like"if..were..or then""become hard to translate or understand
2. panic attacks..they truley suck!!
3. feel like your talking to a person in the room but no one is there..
4. your a woman but feel like a man is inside of you..you may even have a name for that person
I have dissociative disorder. You get scared and run because an alter that is a protector is running things, when the alter runs, you run...
One does drink. I stopped and got help.
Depersonalization is like living in a glass merrier that has been distorted... It can be disturbing and hard to go outside..
DID are alters that are trying to protect and help.. Some alters are me at younger ages, and allot of things start at 0-3
I liked your video..
