  • why would I care for forgiveness from a man I'm sure doesn't exists, who according to christianity made human the way they are, full of flaws. who created evil and hell to punish people for eternity. no thank you. if someone should seek forgiveness for his unspeakable crimes against humanity (genocide, faith based torture, slavery and gender suppression) it is god.

  • @AtheistScientific Atheists love to blame God for what has taken place on the earth. Was it not us humans that rebelled against God and broke relationship with God? The atheist needs to learn the difference between murder and judgment. Gods judgments are righteouss, people who were warned but refused to repent.

  • @ShiningForHim777 we don't blame god, we just attack the flawed logic of it. a loving god using torture because people won't listen to him, that is flawed logic. dont get me wrong, I have nothing against religious people, except for when they attack my personal opinions in the name of their religion, or tell me how wrong I am just because I don't believe in god. you might as well say that santa won't give me any presents for christmas if I don't act christian. which wouldn't work either.

  • @GoIgglesGo Yes, I'd like to know this too.

  • @GoIgglesGo He doesn't know this. Nobody does. He'll probably tell you cause, "it says so in the bible", don't ya know? Most Christians don't understand that when they are asked for "proof" or question something in the bible, you can't go back to the bible to answer the question. Its completely ridiculous. I am NOT an Atheist but I also do not believe every single word in the bible is God's word. To think otherwise is just plain foolish.

  • @GoIgglesGo Those that wrote the books that you find in the bible today were guided and led by the Holy Spirit.

  • i would hate to "live" for ever

  • @whatever133701 ::: If you knew what was waiting for you, you would change your outlook. Free download "Life in the World Unseen" will tell you about it.

  • @k0smon How do you know what is "waiting for you"?

  • @galacticrealignment ::: You converse with those who are already there. This is done thru mediums and seances. The book I recomend most was written from the afterlife by a Catholic priest, Hugh Benson. He has written 6 books thru a friend of his (who is a medium), Anthony Borgia. He is highly critical of orthodoxy, because it does not tell the truth about the afterlife.

  • @GoIgglesGo There is a big difference between following some religious system and being a true follower of Jesus Christ. The latter is the way to go.

  • @GoIgglesGo BTW, Some hospitals now place a paper with a series of numbers on it upon a cabinet in the surgery room so if someone has an outerbody experience they should be able to see it and tell the doctors thereby confirming the event. The situations you describe almost sound like sleep paralysis- the condition where one is both asleep and awake, can not move and has hallucinations sometimes involving demons or aliens.

  • @GoIgglesGo It is a fascinating subject. There are a couple important points to make though. "Clinical" death and "near" death are not the same as actual death, big difference. Also, in your research how many of those that reported the light were religious? Did anyone ever report a firery lake of glimpses of hell? It usually appears that everyone that has these experiences are heaven bound only. At extremely stressful times the mind has created coping strategies that are not completely known

  • @GoIgglesGo I don't believe anything about the Bible either or it's so-called god. I just think it's interesting that Deists say they're not religious but without religion there'd be no god consept to begin with. I'm just givin u shit really...;)

  • Thanks, but no thanks!

  • Even if it all were true, I will have no part of it.

  • @GoIgglesGo Well I applaud your rational view of the bible, you are correct on so many levels. But I am still unsure of how you go about defining god- if you do. Do not get me wrong, you do not need anyones approval to believe in what you do, but I would like you to define the god you believe in.

  • I dont want too. put that in your pipe an smoke it

  • Be with a maniacal maniac for eternity? No thanks, I would rather return to dust. Even if I thought hell was real, I would rather be screaming in pain and gnashing my teeth than bow down to that sick monster.

  • @GoIgglesGo "I fully believe in God but I am not going to put all my stock in the bible." I'm just curious....where did u get the idea of god FROM then do u suppose?

  • So having an imaginary friend can help me somehow? Truly, I don't wish 2 BE the child of a tyrant who allows His children to live in a fallen world 4 HIS purposes. Why would I or ANYONE want to do THAT?!? I HAVE been living my life seperate from god becuz there IS no god! And I DO have purpose even without being a siccophant 2 an imaginary skydaddy. No 1 knows what happens when we die...not even u. Do u spose u r special cuz u have this insight 2 ur god?

  • @GoIgglesGo I was wondering, do you consider yourself a theist or deist? If you are a theist and you do not rely fully on the bible what other sources do you base your belief on?

  • Have you considered what Ra wants for life or Zeus for that matter? I am sure that allah has a task or two for you as well. Could it be you are a bit egocentric in thinking that only christians have it correct and the others are delusional? It seems to me that they are all delusional seeing how they all claim to have personal revelations and a deist inspired book.

  • @TheAtheistJones LOL! Excellent points!

  • @TheLordmyGodishere We need to point people to Jesus the Messiah. That is our mission in sharing the gospel. Then it is up to them to come or stay away.

  • @TheLordmyGodishere We as followers of Christ need to share about Jesus, the gospel is about Jesus, why He came and who He is and that He is the Messiah. Point them to Jesus, then they can choose for themselves to come to Him and believe. It is our job to proclaim Christ to them and point them to the Messiah.

  • We don't know that the Christian god actually exists. What if the REAL one true god is fine with disbelief and hates the worship of false gods? Then it will be the atheists who enjoy heaven while the Christians burn in hell. Since there's no way we can really know, it makes little sense to pick one god over another.

  • @TheLordmyGodishere We are talking about Jesus, the prophet in the Old Testament said He would come. He was born, He lived a perfect life, He told us that He Himself is the bread of life and that if we drink from Him, we will never thirst again. He truly is the Messiah, the Savior of the world, He lived, He died on the cross and He rose from the dead to prove that He is the Messiah. You need Jesus more than you realize.

  • There seems to be very little difference between "purpose" and "slavery" in your mind. Why on earth would anyone care about other agents having plans for our lives? Can you think of a reason other than the fear of being burned in a lake of fire or seeking to obtain the reward of heaven? I can't. I also see no reason to believe either are real, so I could not in good conscience buy your insurance.

The thought of spending eternity anywhere sounds mindnumbingly dull btw. Why would anyone want it?

  • @Gnomefro There is freedom in being a slave of Christ. He is the Messiah, the Savior whom the prophets said would come to be the Savior of the world. He sets us free and its wonderful being a child of God, very liberating, freedom in Christ. He did for us what we cannot do ourselves.
