windows 7, the instalation put my computer in an endless loop of restarts and nothing works, it says, "windows instalation failed, restoring your previous operating system" then it restarts, and many people have this problem, does anyone have a fix, besides clean install?????

well, for 1: That would delete all my precious files and programs, which even if I remove the hard drive and extract the files would still not be able to save the programs, I'm looking for an alternative solution before I resort to clean installation....

Sorry for the delay. This is a known problem, but Windows has created a solution though. Take a look at let me know if you're still having issues.

@WindowsVideos Thanks, That actually was the problem I had, I had several VIDEO folders.... but I wish I would have known sooner, I ended up doing a clean install, which wiped all my precious programs and files.... :(

Whaever, a cool feature is a cool feature. I could care less which company did it first, I just care if it works well and makes me, the user, have a better experience. I use Windows, OS X, and Linux and they are all great in their own way. I just use Windows more because of generally stronger software support (games being the obvious one) and most of the applications I use is on that.
