Ive been listening/enjoying the different songs that this band and qanun player/singer have played Excellent stuff. I now have given up reading the stupid idiotic comments from Greek/Turkish/Serb/Bosniak etc. etc Bigots and amateur historians. Go on have an argument over whether Imam bayildi is Greek or Turkish- If something is good its good- One love
my dear friend im sorry to dissapoint you but this song is greek...it first appeard in Giannis Parios' album in 1984 and was written by Vaggelis Konitopoulos...please get some background information and evidence before you make ridiculous assertions like that and before you try to bring down greek music liek so many people do..(sorry if this post shows up twice)
I know görkem (Playing "kanun") and Yannis (Buzuki and singer). they are very cute cupple as husband and wife and as musicians. good work. ayrıca görkeme de selamlar.

It's not a Greek song. It's a traditional gypsy song from the Balcans. This is just a Greek version of it.
