you can put on of your pokemon on it, then when you(irl) walk with it, the pokemon gets xp, and might find items, that can be sent back to the game

It would be cool if Hoenn was there with Kanto . But the game only fits two regions , sadly , Hoenn is not going to be in the game . It was a great region too . But , Yes , You can go back to Kanto .

yes, you are right, but when they are brought together in the same game, you can unlock an area to catch rayquaza
