@gokito2000 you're asking about Cody in a jail outfit? its in his back story for Street Fighter Alpha 3. after the events of Final Fight he more or less just kept fighting. getting arrested for both constantly fighting and taking the fall for something Guy did. He leaves prison when he's bored.

Hey, I just bought this game used with no instructions. I've killed over 2000 dudes in game, but I can't figure out how to access any of the unlockables other than playing as Alpha Cody/Guy. If you could tell me how to access the rapid-punch/9-lives-to-start/e­tc, that would be great.

I've noticed that the European has a white label while the us/jap have a black. What's the reason for this anyway?

Its seemingly hard enough to beat this game on very easy with 6 or 7 lives( no continues) let alone even trying to beat very hard mode. My best run was up to stage 3Boss.

Very Very impressive! Alpha Cody is top in this game. I think his punches do more damage and he takes less than other characters. That last Boss is major cheap.

Well, I don't know the GBA very well (never played it), so if I'm saying anything stupid please forgive me... But the music in the SNES verison isn't all that bad. In fact I've found it very good, sometimes better than arcade IMHO. Capcom just could use the same music, since they already got the graphics.

i dunno the storyline is very complexed with cody. i think he went to jail after killing bellar in the end and he went on the run, then eddie the cop arrested him and i think thats why hes wearing prison clothing and in final fight streetwise hes finally free but he cant fight anymore cause his knees went bad over the years he fought in jail and you take the role of cody's younger brother kyle

Cody's story in a nutshell:

Cody fights Mad Gear, kills Belger, rescues Jessica, then disappears. He ultimately leaves Jessica and gets thrown in jail for being in one too many fights (Poison also framing him for a crime didn't help, either).

The port is far from lousy, it's arguably the best one, Unlike the Sega CD version whos only good feature was the soundtrack. It played nothing like the arcade game. And it blows the SNES game out of the water. Keep in mind this was also a launch title and most games like this didn't have the tools to use more than 4 digital channels of sound. I think the music is still very faithful despite the use of the GB sound system for parts of it.
