Thank you for protecting our forest, and our homes! I was very inpressed with the quick response, and I sure am glad it was contained and put out before it got too much bigger. I was frightened because of the heavy winds!
I was on taht fire from about 1:30pm to midntght the first night then our volunteer dept was on structure protection the next day about 500 yards from where the camera is. I had a blast on it we cut line then us rural guys went to protect power poles on the road just down the hill from the smoke we had huge rocks rolling down the hill at us. the fire spotted over the river and grew to be 435 acres total.
