Funny - nobody has it right yet. Don't meet with Maechen in Chapter 3, and don't whistle for the fayth at the end of it and at the end of the game = normal ending. Do meet with Maechen and do the whistling = good ending. Do that and have 100% = perfect ending.

in case anyones wondering, TIDUS IS CORRECT ON HSI ASUMPTION HERE.

He IS memories regathered.the only reason he was ghostly for a bit in the FFX ending is because he was accepting that he wasnt real,thus making him lose hsi stability.apparently some last minute thoughts of yuna and his old man telling him go on(thru the hand tag basically,his old man is the quiet talker.lol) gave him what he needed to decided to exist.

This is the 3rd Ending in English version. It would go Ending with Gippal, Baralai, and Nooj speaking in Luca, then to reunion of Tidus and Yuna, then this one. The sad ending is if u fail to defeat Vegnagun.

It all depends how the percent of the game you got. If you got 50% done you get the normal suck-ish ending, which is the one were Tidus doesn't come back at all. The 75% one is were Tidus and Yuna are at Zanarkand together. 100% is the one were he wistled and they meet at Besaid beach. Whatever percent you get closer to those is the ending you get.

I think it depends on how you want ffx2 to end. It is never cut in stone how the ending is. I love final fantasy games but this one got me hooked just because of how the story went. I mean come on we all have had our dreams of how love should be. I think we can all agree that ffx2 and ffx rocks!!! Or atleast say ffx rocks!!Now if they can only come up with one with good songs and good story line I'll be happy.

To view perfect ending, get 100 story completion points. Then press x in the farplane after defeating vegnagun. Say yes to the little boy who appear shortly. Now you get to view it.
